Murilo_A got a reaction from iskander87 in Tutorial: How to use all your hard drive with Adobe Premiere Pro
So, I needed to joint a video and an audio together, Vegas Pro was crashing and I couldn't fix it, so I decided to try Adobe Premiere (which I have never used before), since it was a simple task, I though it was going to be easy, and it was, but... in the middle of exporting, I realized it was using only 30% of CPU and 100% of the hard drive (disk activity, not space), it was weird, but I left it doing that, turns out that when it finishes, Windows says I'm running out of space, and I find it weird because I had more than 400GB left on the hard drive and 80GB on the SSD, I went into the folder the video were, and I realized it was F***ING 422GB and a bitrate of only 440,000kbps. I don't know what I did wrong, neither how the f*** Premiere managed to do that (it was only a 1.8GB file). If you need to fill up your hard drive for some weird reason, just export a video in Premiere without changing the settings and you're done.

Murilo_A got a reaction from ARikozuM in PS4 or XONE controller for PC?
Update: I actually bought the PS4 controller, not only I prefer to the PS layout, but it was cheaper. Support for the controller is great and it's working perfectly and bluetooth worked fine

Make sure you post a Member Review of the setup so that we can link to it. That's if you want to.

Murilo_A got a reaction from Dackzy in PC started freezing after driver update
I'm currently trying Nvidia chat, the first attendent said it was a problem with my dual gpu setup (disabled iGPU, didn't work) now the other said to change some configs in the control panel, I'm waiting until it crashes again, it's probably a hardware fault so this is sort of useless, I might try removing my GPU and running on integraded, since I don't have any GPU lying around

Murilo_A got a reaction from Bladactania in Parent PC Build question
Integrated graphics are more than enough, since there's only light work, you can go even 4k without any issues, for light video editing I assume is movie maker, so Nvidia Cuda won't make a difference here, and even if she uses more advanced software that can use the GPU for rendering, there's Intel Quick Sync.

not really, there isnt much current flow through the clip and unless you short the wrong ones it should be just like normal operation

Murilo_A reacted to JacobFW in WD or Seagate
WD drives have worked great for me over the years. Not saying Seagate drives are bad. Just that I haven't used any in about 10 years so I don't have any recent experience with them.
This is my philosophy when it comes to mechanical hard drives. You're welcome to disagree.
Hard Drives are slow. End of Story. I do not pick Hard drives for speed, and whenever anyone asks me, I tell them they shouldn't either.
To be clear, YES, there are situations where the higher RPM's can be taken advantage of, but usually, if you don't know already, it's probably not you.
I buy Hard Drives for:
* Capacity (duh I know)
* Reliability (I usually buy NAS drives, which are slower but better quality)
To be clear, that's my approach. Not saying it has yours or anyone elses.

I noticed now that the bar is not only download, now it's updating, apparently Apple doesn't like 5GHz Wi-Fi, anyway, thanks everyone =)

The good thing is that if these W10 keys are not legit (it's really hard to tell if they are or not) and M$ blocks it, Kinguin protection will give you a refund
