  1. Hey, I am downloading windows 10, steam, and some other stuff. Then I have to move the ssd to a new system. Is there anything special I need to do?
  2. What are the best headphones for Gaming? I am looking for the best headphones under about $320 that I will get the best gaming audio with. I am planning on attaching them to my modmic.
  3. What do you think of this 1440p Ultra Gaming Build? Parts I have: Asus MAXIMUS IX HERO, G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200, Samsung 960 Evo 500GB M.2-2280, Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Glass, EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W, Arctic Silver 5 Parts I am planning to get: i7 7700k, 1080/1070, NZXT Kraken X62, Asus PG279Q ROG Swift So is it worth it to pay $200 for a GTX 1080? FYI: I know the m.2 is overkill, but I do a lot of high res file transfers
  4. I would go with the 6700t, but I really would caution you from those products, this is not a alienwares and prebuilts are bad kind of thing, but just because for the higher tiered model, you will be paying 1k for a GTX 960 an that is a terrible deal.
  5. Absolute best 8000 CAD performance: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2N3NBP
  6. These two cards are pretty similar, I really like EVGA, but a strix card would look better in my case with aura lighting... is it worth it. Asus card: http://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-STRIX-GTX1080-O8G-GAMING/overview/ EVGA card: http://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-6286-KR Other options lower on my list are the 1080 sc and the ftw and sc 2's (new cooler)
  7. for the 1080, you should make sure your new monitor is above 1080p and if possible 144hz
  8. I'm not sure what you budget is, but definitly go for a 6600k or 7600k if you can, and also if you are going to get a 7th series cpu, get a z270 mobo, there are some that are already on the market for pretty cheap. Also-- if you have any money left over, the gtx 1060 6gb has much better fps, and you will hit 60 fps and up in all games Finally, I don't know much about Sharkoon, but look at some reviews of those products, just to make sure that they are good
  9. Ok, thanks so much. Also, I currently have a Steelseries Arctis 7, which is pretty good, but nothing amazing, do you think it is worth the upgrade?
  10. True, but it gets pretty good fps in AAA games
  11. I would upgrade your cpu to a i5-4690 and save up to ugrade your chipset: mobo, ram, and cpu down the line, because z97 is quite old, but replacing those parts now would be over your budget
