  1. Thank you! I have a thermal tape on the cover of it. I'll hope for the best then. Thank you for answering, and sorry if this post was really dumb. WIll update once the new one arrives!
  2. It's a Ryzen 5 5600X, B550-F, GTX 1070, The PSU is the Corsair RM750X, and the SSD in question is the ADATA XPG 8200 Pro 1TB one. In the service they said, that it should be safe to put a new SSD in it. But the part that really worries me is the should part. I guess I'm having some sort of thing where it failed me once, so it will fail me again, and I'm too scared to take the risk of finding it out.
  3. Hello! A few days ago I made a rookie mistake. I was using windows where my computer completely froze while trying to open Event Viewer. Out of panic, I held down the power button, and weird things started happening, first the computer did not POST, because of a DRAM error, reseating the RAM fixed it. After that I've been able to go into the BIOS, where everything seems normal, except for my NVME M.2 SSD, which disconnects after trying to do anything with it. The only solution that brings it back to the BIOS, is doing a full powercycle (unplugging and plugging in the powercord). I tried updating the BIOS (which was succesful), but to no avail. I even took it to a service, where they said that yeah the SSD is completely dead. So my question is, if I RMA the SSD and get it back, then would it be safe to install it in the motherboard, without the risk of ending on the same fate as the other one? I'm sorry if it's a dumb question in general, but I'M quite nervous about it. Any help would be appreciated, and if somethings not clear, don't be afraid to ask.
  4. Hello! I've just completed my build, and I immediately have a problem about my XBOX One controller on my PC. The problem is that I am unable to use it in games. I've tried it in Rocket League, where it just simply didn't got any input whatsoever. And in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, where the audio got muted, and then I was unable to use it. (Also noticed that while it was loading up it sad Controller got disconnected and connected, while it was off multiple times) What is also confusing, is that the XBOX accessories app input recognises it perfectly, and every button works. It's only games that have this problem. What I tried: Trying to update firmware. Trying wired modem (I have the wireless USB dongle for it.) Restarting PC multiple times, but to no avail. What should I do to fix this? It worked perfectly fine on my last PC.
  5. Thank you for your answer! I have 1 more question if you don't mind tho. I've read that I can't change the effect to individual RGB strips in a hub. I plan to use OpenRGB, and would this mean compatibility issues, if I have 2 different sized RGB strips?
  6. This might be a weird question, but I just got this case, and I plan to add some extra RGB to it via a Phanteks Neon. The 50cm long strip uses 1.52A, so that means that via a splitter I would have 1.48 A maximum for the case ARGB. Would that be enough, or should I buy an ARGB hub for it just in case?
  7. I5 6500, 16Gb ram, an Asus 1070 Dual. It's a weird issue for sure, because even when i change between fullscreed and borderless the screen goes black, and wether its set to fullscreen or borderless, the few seconds of black screen still prevails. It must be software related tho, as yesterday (when it was 1909) i didn't have the problem.
  8. Hello! So I've just updated to 2004, and when I'm using full screen apps (League of Legends) I can't change songs, without the display going black for a few seconds. Also, when I try to change it to borderless windowed, but it still does the same. Any possible solution to this, or should I go back to 1909?
  9. Ok so I finally got it to work, so I'll leave my method how I did it in case anyone needs it. So firstly I added a new ADMINISTRATOR account privileges (note: WITHOUT a microsoft account), then I signed out from the account I used then log onto the new account, which I've just created. Went into the disk where windows was installed (most of the times C) then navigated to :Users/(account where the search does not work)/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows and renamed UsrClass.dat to UsrClass.dat.old then logged out logged into the other account and everything was working perfectly. This might not be the easiest way, but only this worked for me, I hope that I've helped everyone who seeks answers.
  10. Yes I have them, however I can't delete them, and can't even change the owner. Should I do a clean install of my windows?
  11. Sadly I'm not home right niw. I'll upgrade with the information as soon as i get home!
