  1. so far I have def title(word) then im assuming i have to do .upper(0) idk. and lower case rest of word? how would I go about it?
  2. Sorry I read your comment after I replied, I was trying to work it out, thats why i initially said .higher, then read your comment and realized im stupid and its .upper, coding is hard not gonna lie
  3. oh that makes it so much easier, just comparing the names and returning the name with bigger length, i dont know why i was overthinking it, Any ideas on the capitalizing the first letter of a word thats jumbled like "JoHn" and lowercasing the rest? im assuming youd do like .higher(0) and lower(?) idk im lost on that one
  4. write these functions myself, its a practice problem im doing in a course so for long name i have this lol but i could be completely off def long_name(name_1, name_2): names = (name_1, name_2) for words in names:
  5. yeah i just looked at the options, unfortunately the 16gb option is around $1500 usd, and is out of stock, ill keep looking through the options you mentioned though, thank you!
  6. What do you think of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 5? its around my price range, with 16gb ram, has good battery life, what do you think?
  7. Starting a program in which ill need a laptop specifically for cyber security, only real necessary thing im told i need is at least 16gb of ram, im sort of on a budget so maybe around $1,000 usd, a little flexible on that, but preferably around that. All laptops I find around that price range with 16gb of ram have really bad reviews and i dont want to be stuck with something shitty. Any recommendations would be extremely appreciated, thank you !
  8. Ahh so 2060 should suffice along side 16gb ram ? is there much difference between 2060 and 2070 in terms of performance vs price
  9. My only issue with the 2060 is that its 6gb of vram, which is low no ? Currently running a stock rx480 with 8gb so it seems kind of weird to me, maybe im wrong idk
  10. Hmm would you reccommend getting a 2060 plus a new psu or just adding on a 2070 ? I dont mind using stock cooler tbh. Thanks for the help, appreciate it
  11. So essentially I built this PC mainly for gaming a while ago, and it seems to be crapping out on me. Constant GPU crashes, PSU failing, CPU struggling to manage stream + gaming workload, so I'm really looking to change essentially the CPU, Mobo, GPU, PSU, and maybe add ram since only 8gb and ddr3, budget I'm not really sure, maybe something around $1k USD, honestly open to most suggestions around that price range maybe even more, depends really. I was thinking a Ryzen 7 2700 + a vega 56, not sure tho what's best option. Here's my current build that I'm trying to upgrade, kinda wanna keep the case and SSD if I can as I'm trying to save as much as possible - PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU Intel - Core i5-4460 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor Motherboard ASRock - H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Memory Corsair - Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Storage Samsung - 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $77.99 @ Amazon Video Card MSI - Radeon RX 480 8 GB GAMING X Video Card Case NZXT - S340 (Black/Blue) ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply EVGA - SuperNOVA GS 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $89.89 @ OutletPC Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $177.88 Mail-in rebates -$10.00 Total $167.88 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-02-23 01:19 EST-0500
