  1. Yeah thats what im thinking since i only have 4gb. I have an 8gb kit coming in soon so ill keep you posted if it works.
  2. Is it missing instructions to run the game?
  3. NFS heat keeps crashing as soon as i launch it. I dont know what to do. It shows up in TM for about 20s then closes and then proceeds to crash origin with it. My specs are AMD A6 3620 4gb ddr3 1333mhz 1tb hdd at 7200rpms Radeon r7 250x Gigabyte GA A55M DS2 motherboard Apevia 550w BEAST POWER.
  4. He said he'd just run it into the ground. Its a shame. Would have been nice reviving this later down the road. I don't know how he does it but he kills pcs every 3 years. Thanks anyways guise.
  5. He runs VMs and things alike and this is what they recommended for him.
  6. 2 Titan RTXs, Screw a 9900k, Go for a Threadripper 2990WX, 128gb of DDR4 at 3800mhz, ASUS ROG ZENITH EXTREME ALPHA (TR4), 4 8tb SSDs, 1600w PSU, And liquid cool the whole thing ^-^. The case is your choice!
  7. Thats the thing my dad is sensitive about me taking apart his stuff.
  8. Usually yes if you're at home. At a Walmart or something it may be different.
  9. Id say the motherboard might have protection against that kind of stuff. Im sure theres a buffer between the usb bus and the cpu. So in short terms its probably the motherboard.
  10. Yeah thats the best we can do for you here. Also if its sunny try putting the rice and the laptop in the sun. It might speed things up a little bit.
  11. Okay so im on my dads shop pc and i noticed that the fan ramps up A LOT, so i went and installed Prime95 and RealTemp 3.70 and i instantly notices that it was already pretty toasty at 65c on average. I was kinda nervous about running Prime95 but i went ahead anyway. Within a minute i was already hitting TJMax at 85c. This thing sounded like a jet engine getting ready to take off. And i was quite surprised that even when the cool down test was going at 50% i was still 6c from TJMax and the cpu was down to 760mhz. And the fans weren't even whirring like they were before so its like its trying to stay around 80c even though its a damaging temperature for this cpu. What should i do? Should i get my dad to call their system intergrators or should i just underclock the cpu itself? The pc is a Lenovo ThinkCentre MT-M-10AB 000KUS
  12. use a paper clip to substitute for cable ties. just DONT do it when the card is on.
