  1. EKWB EK-AIO The reviews are pretty good, just have to run the fans slower for quiet operation
  2. I'd check the thermal paste. With refurbished/pre-owned items, it's quite common to see dried up or incorrect application of cooling cheese
  3. Go listen to Monolith M560 sound demo. It may change your mind, it may not. I'm just here to help OP make the best decision possible for his hearing pleasure, not here to argue about subjective matter.
  4. That's not the idea of sound demo anyway. He's posting those video so we can get a feel of sound stage, and relative frequency response of headphones. It's not meant to be a precise tool.
  5. Here are some more options: Open - Fidelio X2HR, Monolith M560, Monolith M565 Closed - SRH840, M40x, T50RP If you also want to take it on the go, definitely Fidelio X2HR. I think Zeos has sound demo videos for all of the headphones mentioned, worth taking a listen to.
  6. I think the best place to look for a value of a phone is Swappa. They list the condition of the phone, battery life, and most of the sellers there have verified identities so it's less funny business or desperation than Craigslist, eBay, Letgo, etc.
  7. Full-sized wireless mechanical keyboards are limited in options. The only ones I can think of are Logitech G613, and Filco Majestouch Convertible 2 (extremely difficult to find and pricey). Many options in 60% keyboard. They are surprisingly more comfortable than full or TKL imo.
  8. Surface Pro is the only machine running Office in my house. My ex girlfriend introduced me to OpenOffice, and that seems to be working fine for most home related documents and work. At work, I don't know how the Navy is going to integrate Office 2019, should they upgrade...since upgrading to Windows 10 has caused major disruptions to some security controls.
  9. Some of this is reeking of insider trading. Brian Krzanich selling half of his shares before Meltdown became public.
  10. Why? He's just a guy reporting on the findings of security and economic analysts of Mizuho Securities.
  11. RAM suppliers are like OPEC. If they see the price dropping, they will halt production, artificially inflate the price by letting demand far exceed the supply before resuming production. Nothing to do with Apple.
  12. There are many fake SanDisk branded cards out there on e-commerce websites...I'm certain I have a fake SanDisk, but it's working fine still.
  13. I'm surprised AMD didn't have a non-compete clause in his contract.
