kristaps552 got a reaction from brownninja97 in Modders want to create a racing simulator using a real car.
I could do the same with my DFGT but as I don't own a car, just get on the top floor of the bus and sit at the very front, the bus driver would laugh at me probably.

kristaps552 got a reaction from TheKDub in Is this folder safe to delete?
The only purpose of this folder is so after you have re-installed your windows you still have access to the files from your previous installation.
So if you have nothing there, you can surely delete it.

kristaps552 got a reaction from BloodWithIce in How is this racing wheel?
That is, if you want to spend £200 for a wheel.
DFGT is a good value option.
The FFB isn't that good, there is no H Shifter, and no clutch pedal.
Other than that, it's absolutely brilliant.
Add a joystick and use it like hydraulic handbrake and u've got the sequential shifter.
Mine is still holding even after 4-5 years of heavy abuse - drifting in LFS for 3 hours straight almost every day with the FFB settings turned up high.

That's better, for that, yes, I can recommend a DFGT.
It's not the best, but it is in the same price bracket as that thrustmaster and has tons more of functionality.

kristaps552 got a reaction from antoainb in Can i trust ebay? (UK)
With ebay, you do have some sort of buyers protection I think... So if the item is damaged or not working you can get a refund, but it can turn out to be quite a hassle as the seller might be a Richard.

kristaps552 got a reaction from improbablepants in 750 USD build - Any changes?
Why the different memory?
I would suggest, either get 8GB or 16GB of the same model memory.
Also, is there a reason you went for an AMD build instead of an intel build?
Other than that it looks fine, even though a bit underpowered in the graphics region...
