First upgrade needs to be an upgrade to i5. Trust me, the difference will is amazing.

The PSU can easily handle 2 980's without even breaking too much sweat. You can keep the i7 if you like, but there is no real benefit in games as of yet. 
Plus, you can always add Watercooling later on. And I would suggest a better air cooler than a 212 Evo. Something like a noctua or a phanteks, or even prolimatech. 

and then there are wankers who order more than 10. 
Anyhow, nothing yet in the UK. 
But they might send them by the cheapest and longest delivery ever, so just keep waitin.

Get the 850 Evo instead, its £88 on amazon.

As long as you boot from the correct SSD no, and then after you format it, there should be no issues at all.

check if windows has detected all of the ram.
Check if you've installed windows in AHCI mode (check in bios under boot options if it says AHCI or IDE.)
You will need to reinstall windows if it is in IDE mode.

I've got my media pc with 4x tb drives, now what I plan on doing (when I get a gigabit switch cuz sky hub sucks ass) is backing up my SSD onto my 2TB hdd thats in my rig, and then that gets incrementally backed up onto the media pc. I can do that all using ease us to do backup free. And I think for the SSD I will do Daily backups, and for the HDD I will do weekly backups.
And I think that is not a bad option for backups. It would work roughly the same way with a nas.

It's a bit over the budget, but I really think you need a six core and a good quadro, also a 1400p IPS screen. 

UPS hasn't been included aswell.
