    From what I've heard they're not going to even bother with 4gbs it's pretty well been abandoned. I'm curious as to what they're going to do with the 470s though...will they ever come out lol.

    The only company that carries the 4gb model is newegg and they haven't been in stock since launch while the 8gbs have come and gone a few times.

    It's more of a "if" rather than a "when"...not gonna lie though, I was full on board to buy a 480, but they're never in stock (Canada) and the 1060 is the same price here too...

    His budget is 225$ aud...and the sad thing is Canadian and Australian money is the same compared to US dollar...but the rx 480 costs $329 here and it's $449 there...so it's clearly not a viable option for him. And since the 1060 will be ever more it's not even an option. An r9 380 is about 250 aud thats probably your best bet for now.

    Only new egg carries the 4gb and it's never in stock...goes for 259$ cad...after tax about 300$

    No offence taken...it sucks big balls...my 900$ build without a gpu is like 600 American lol...so I'm trying to spend 300 max on a gpu...and I'm really just playing modded minecraft and maybe ark and other non console games
