  1. Just make a donate button on your forum. Monthly sub. is not always an option for me, I don't always have money to pay monthly. But once in a while things are working out and i tend to give back to people and depending on my budget i give out some amount. Fock, just give your bank details I did subscribe in the past to your forum. Always happy to support you, Total Biscuit, Quill18 and Barnacules.. ahh, and community channel (love that girl). nonetheless, fuck Google for the bullshit... yeah they supply the platform but the idea wasn't theirs. Yes, youtube is better (More reliable) but in the same time easier for them to manipulate. But... all this will lead towards the end of youtube and other platforms will come with slightly better options like Vessel.
  2. Have you done any OC? If yes, try resetting the BIOS to default. I have an Asus Maximus VI Formula, it does the same when I OC. The answer I got after reading loads of posts in other places was that the MoBo is regulating the voltage and thus you experience the shutdown. it's a similar type of shutdown as you get when saving new BIOS settings or swapping between bios's. For me it last more then 1 sec, the mobo posts then shutsdown and starts for good. nothing to worry about. It never hurts to read the manual once in a while. They do have a point when printing over 250 pages of writing. I know i searched the web but the answer I got was a guy quoting what was written in the manual
  3. Well, even mechanical key-switches have a connection point... and keys will get messy if you cannot do a proper clean after cook (Not cocaine, that gets off with a vacuum-cleaner!) . And yes, it's not my first mechanical .. yes... I did spill cook myself on the previous one... - Did I learn my lesson? - Yes Sir(s), I did ! ... - My son was one years old at that time, he couldn't learn from my mistakes because.. - Well, because STUPID mankind! We start learning from other's mistakes once our memory is less busy learning how to walk! P.S. My 3 years old doesn't drink coca cola, the can was mine from the previous evening (Stupid me and again.. stupid me for not locking the office room ! (Why you hate me soo much GOD?! WHY!?) My son... He only liked the shiny colours and was thinking what happens if he adds a bit of "Spice" to it. Well son, dad has to be sad a few more months ... Don't worry, the pain will be gone in 3-6 months. I was only waiting for this keyboard for 1.5 years... And it's not like dad cannot afford a new one each day... because dad is rich and rich people post things on forums and try to repair them because... they are toooo rich to buy new ones. Of course im over-reacting... don't take me too serious. They keyboard shows signs of health Just need to replace a connector which got broken during dissembling Will be done tomorrow and will post in a few days if everything works fine .... or will come back with new photos of the funereal!
  4. 99% evaporates very fast. Like in a few seconds and it takes the water / Cooke with it ... So i heard it's the best thing to do in this situation. Coke is very corrosive compare to other substances (Water, natural juice etc.)
  5. Yeap, im trying to see the most positive thing so I written the story in a funny way.. Im glad you laughed.
  6. I will tell you the horror i've been passing through the last few hours.... It is a beautiful day of Winter... Snowing like in cinderella stories. I said to myself i should go to work to finish some stuff for next year.... I got in, drinked a nice cup of warm coffee and two hours later, I got a desperate phone call from my wife "You have to come home now!" "Why? What happened?!" "Im trying to dry it out but I think it went inside...." "Dry what out?!?! Inside where?!" "Your Keyboard..." "My what???? I hope you mean your keyboard!?!" "No... she, she's gone... your k70... she's not responding anymore ! " "Ohhhh dear Gabe Newell !!!!!" At that point i was feeling the symptoms of a heart attack.... I am too young for one but I was not sure I could take such bad news. I rushed into the car and drove like crazy.... At the door my wife and child were waiting for me... I asked her "What happened?!" She remained silent and winked towards the child.... The child looks at me and asks.... Can i get a Kinder egg daddy?. I remained silent and went upstairs, got inside the office room and saw her standing... like she was sleeping... I picked her up and hold her in my arms... Then i felt it... a read / blackish fluid was pouring out of her body! What is this?!?! I asked my wife... She answers with sorrow in her voice "... Soda!" "SODA?!? What kind of Soda?!?" ".... C.....Co.... Coooooola..... Coca Cola..." Than i realised, everything is lost. I called my family, my friends... Told them what happen. My brother said -"There is nothing you can do, you must split her up and see the damages.." - How?! How can I do such thing?! The flashy Logo... made of aluminium... is being hold by industrial glue and it hides one of the screws... I will lose it... It will break apart ! - Is that or a flashy logo without a keyboard" he ends his sentence... I prayed to the gods, gather my tools and start ripping her apart... The pain... the pain is something I cannot translate to words.... Once i've seen the damage, I took one liter of 99% alcohol and started to clean... after that, i used a fine circuit cleaner to finish off the job... I tasted her after a few hours... it seemed to work but a few of her buttons... they look different... they display different colors. Now... she is sitting under the hitting system, in hopes she will recover..... During all this time, my evil Logitech G15 was looking at me from the dusty shelf... smiling.. The bitch! She knew there will come a time she will replace my beloved K70... One month old... my k70 RGB was... even if she will recover.. it will never be the same... it seems some of her LDS's broke and she cannot display all colors on each keycap anymore.... the media buttons seems to be complete dead... The keys will get a sticky feel once the cock dries out... even after all the cleaning... I cannot get inside each cherry cap to clean them off.... but ... coca cola did...
  7. Well, Here i can pay a major ISP like vodafone for a Fiber connection of let's say 1gbps, Vodafone will bring me the fiber to the place I ordered, from there own it's my duty to bring the connection to each individual. in one word I build my own infrastructure and I see the internet provided by vodafone under my own name and under my own rules. The only thing i must respect is the contract between my own company and vodafone. The rest is no ones business but mine.,
  8. Hi, Maybe this was already said but help me understand something.... In Europe, I can build my own company and buy a big bandwidth from a major ISP. I can share by selling that bandwidth with whomever, of course I must build my own infrastructure (From the place of practice/company work point to the end user) and figure out all legal parts (Pay taxes, licences and authorisation, contracts with end-users etc....as any other company). But that is what a lot of micro-companies are doing here, and this is happening in most countries inside Europe. The difference is, when you buy a bulk package with a huge bandwidth and share it with let's say 200 users, putting down an infrastructure, you gain competition and you lower the costs! And YES, you can make a profit! I have friends which started with 3-4 users inside their apartment blocks, extended to 250+ users in matter of a few months. These companies are extending more and more, some of them become major players and have their own national infrastructure and international pairing with other major IPS'... Why is this not an option in USA, Canda, Australia...? [Not bragging, just comparing!] The last time I've checked, my country was 2nd place world wide on Internet speed... and we are not "all rich people" here, in fact we are far from that.. for a 1000Mbps connection you pay something like 18 Dollars (13.5 Euro). And all this is possible only because.... well, if the price and quality is not right I have SOOO MANY options! The ISP's are forced to bring down the prices and to ensure quality in order to survive. Equipment is lower in Price here? NO! EU is known to have higher prices on electronics than USA, if a company as Digi Net (RCS&RDS) can have millions of users and sustain gigabyte connections to each end-user... the Equipment is, well at least professional and as expansive (Or even more because of added taxes) as what ISP's are using in USA. So what is the reason? Is taking authorisations more difficult in those parts of the world? Is it so much more expansive? Are people not likely to move to an unknown (Starter) company? I see all this complains about net neutrality which I understand and empathised with, I am doing my best to help (Virtually) in any way I can, but I do not understand how come it got to this point? How is a company able to change the rules of a game they are playing just to be sure they will be the winners. The price for maintaining an already constructed infrastructure is not like adding fuel to an engine. Internet consumes nothing but electric power and of course, maintaining the current infrastructure (Because we cannot speak about Upgrades as long as the internet speeds remain the same since years or even got worse, and as we speak about a few ISP's i do not think the number of new subscribers is a concern for upgrading the network, from the looks of it, they are only raising the price/connection speed because the users do not have where to migrate to...) This is more a question for my own knowledge and those interested, i really want to know how the system works over there. In Europe we consume a lot of tech content created by you, the people from USA/Canda and Australia. I always her complains on this matter. I remember the time when in my country there were two major Phone companies, Vodafone and Orange (Big players inside the EU). They charged prices like 7c / min after 18:00 until 06:00am and something like 30c/min the rest of the time... All this until a new company come into the market and said "Fuck all of you, buy our pre-paid cards and with 3 Dollars / month you can speak 5000 Free Minutes inside our network without a contract, just recharge the pre-paid card once a month with 3 Dollars". Well, since then Vodafone and Orange totally change their policy after they lost millions of users. Now we literally speak for free....It's an insignificant amount of money for thousands of National minutes (On all networks). Imagine if they now still MAKE a profit, how much money they were making before?
  9. Yeap, can say the same. I have a 500Gb WD drive, bough in 2006.. Still works like a charm (Of course, I keep only game installers on it for safety reasons but that means it's running every day.), changed 2 Seagate Barracuda's in less then 1 year. One came out of the box with bad sectors, coudln't read the drive. 2nd died after a few days. Both got replaced without a problem but I was a bit frustrated a few days until I change them.
  10. Nothing ever die on me before it's age. Everything went through a slow and painful death as all the rest of us humans ) I did buy broken products out of the box though, returned them and the new ones work properly (And still are today).. But strange... these products i mention all come in less than 1 year, so maybe quality of manufacturing is going down.... QC is not that precise or maybe the tech is becoming too sophisticated to properly check products.. we can count also the fact that manufacturers want their products out ASAP and this may result in some steps being "Skipped" or we can say it's all of the above. Conclusion: We pay the same amount of money or even less than 10 years ago (The rate of inflation shows money have less value at this point in time), but the life cycle of products went below 60% comparing to products build in the 90s or even 2000s. Things are more complex and sophisticated (Like girls), better looking (Like girls) but as in real life (Like girls), a good looking things will cost you more, be a pain in the neck.. it will bring you satisfaction but beauty doesn't last for ever. So YOU tell ME, buyer! What is the path to choose?! Is rampaging phones, CPUs, GPUs etc,. etc, the way to go?! or should we tell manufacturers to stop, take a deep breath and build some quality shit! Of course, i will be flagged for this! Im sure those 200mhz WILL (not) make a difference for 95% of today's tech users. I could have used my dishwasher to write this comment (It has the capabilities, you just don't know it).
  11. Thanks man! Woow, that looks nice! The price tough.... Arghh... I really like their FAQ ))) http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/maximus/faq/
  12. Stupid question, i know. It's a fantasy I have .. Why is nobody building a keyboard with LCD panels integrated into the switches? I can imagine it would be EXPANSIVE but... I would pay 1k for something like that... Razer had a small shot at it with their DeathStalker but it's still far away from my imagination. Think of the possibilities... Playing an MMO and setting up the keys to look like the actual spells from your action bar.
  13. Nothing is wrong with Comic Sans if used appropriate. People just geeking out for small things. There are more important things in the world then this but ok.... We all need to hate something to make us feel smarter, better. Another idiotic reason to hate on something.
