hmm i just remember reading a treat on here where they said ek made the best blocks and the fittings were kinda shit. maybe it was about rads. cant remember. ill empty my loop today, but why wouldent it have the right jet plate?

maybe o-ring yea, other thing is your opinion. but if its just a o-ring that does not explain that it is gunk instead of actual coolant

okay, so yesterday i noticed that something came out my cpu block, u turned it of as fast as i could. its like some wierd red slime(same colour as my coolant) idk how it is comming out of the block. its not even where the fitting are. but out of 1 screw and like all around the block. its worst at the buttom. i already send a message to ekwb but havent gotten an answear yet. ill post some pics now from the block. i hope someone can explain to me what is happening. my guess would be that it is filled with gunk. but my temps havent been getting higher. and the current setup is only half a year old

so i just did a dban and a format of my hdd. it worked all fine and stuff, then i wanted to install some games on it and left the pc, the pc then went to sleep mode, and when i turned the pc back on the hdd wasnt there anymore, i tried to switch sata cables, did not work. idk what could be wrong, i can fell that the drive is getting turned on but it not showing up on the pc, what to do?

windows is installed on the ssd and not on the hdd that i nuked

when i nuked it it only had the one drive in

so i just used DBAN( Dariks boot and nuke) on my old pc because i wanted to use a ssd for windows. i wiped the hdd the system had with DBAN, but now when i u turned on the pc i checked the storage, none of the files were deleted, it still says 503gb fre out of 930gb. but every single folder and file on the hdd is broken, it wont open and i cant delete them. what do i do?

yup thats and allu rad. you will get alot of corusion, if you choose a copper block

if its so cheap, i will probably be out of allu. and if you then get a copper cpu block, its going to be bad. and if its a 80 mm i dont even know if it suppors g4 threading?

well the x, and xi is almost the same price by me. so cant see why i shouldent go for the xi, and i might buy a 9900k. ill wait until some benchmarks come out

so its nothing more then some usb ports and wifi.. ive just heard people say you could overclock more and stuff like that

so what is the difference really? i am going to upgrade to the i7 9700k and im going for some high overclocking. im buying the maximus formula x or xi, the thing is i have no idea what the difference is between them
