    By the way, notihng with PAE will work for me(like Ubuntu , Xubuntu or Lubuntu), because my CPU does not support it, and forcepae works, but crashes in 5-20 minutes. EDIT: I'll try ArchBang for now.

      he either just has his PC on 24/7 or maybe he is online, but just discussing administrator things with the rest of the staff. I dunno, I'm not Slick/Luke :P

    My one was (and now still is) a Core 2 Duo, NVidia GT240, 4GB RAM. It's a pre-built HP Workstation.

    @Stadin6 As far as I know, Arch is hard to install.

    Also , it crashes on any Live CD after 5 - 15 minutes. Battery and harddrive isint being detected , checked on BIOS .

    So ive got an old PC/laptop (Pentium M @ 1.70GHz , 1GB RAM) It lags on Ubuntu . Anything else that will install on an 8GB USB stick?

    You can mess up your first build, and lose a ton of money, so building something simple and not costy will not do any damage
