  1. I plan to buy the the R2600 this weekend but I need second opinions if I should stay with my gigabyte A320M S2H or upgrade.
  2. I have the same issue, I'll leave a comment for future uses Do a little google search on HPET and how to disable it i hear some users experience some performance gains from it
  3. Did that found nothing oddly. However, when playing FPS games like overwatch or apex, the keyboards would stop responding for a fraction of a second, but enough to make me misplay. The mouse was also doing the same thing so its probably these two devices. They are pretty old
  4. This has been happening for a while now Every now and then, the 'Windows Remove.wav' sound would play every few seconds several times. These weird sessions happen at least once a day during random times (While playing, idle, watching, doing homework, etc.) I thought maybe some device could be loose so I decided to remove and plug in all devices connected to my PC. Nothing changed. Restarting and performing Windows Updates to my PC did nothing as well When I checked Device Manager, the window was constantly refreshing E46cVHgP1o.mp4 Using Windows 10 Any help would be appreciated The Sounds and the refreshing do not happen at the same time. the refreshing is always happening while the sounds play more randomly
  5. Doesn't repasting void warrant on the card? Just curious
  6. I have that same board but V1, I have not tried overclocking my 1300x on it yet in fear of setting my PC ablaze. I can however overlock ram, so there's that...
  7. So I've had this problem a few months after building this PC back in 2018, but it was so rare that it didn't bother me to ask for help. Now It feels like its happening more often, making me worried of the fan's life span and other possible hardware effected. When turning on my PC (either from sleep, or shutdown/restart) my fans would rev to 100% (very loud noise so I assume its 100%). GPU, CPU or Power Supply Also spin, but hard to tell if they also run at full speed R3 1300x RX 560 EVGA 600W 80+ Bronze, 100-B1-0600-KR A320 S2H Rosewill Nautilus Case Thanks in advance
  8. From my experience I can move the directory of certain programs anywhere. When installing the program, just change the installation location. EZ.
  9. So is it dual rank or dual channel that benefits Ryzen CPU’s (according to internet)?
  10. So I'm planning to buy the same RAM model I have in my PC, resulting in 16GB ram for my multitasking needs on a Ryzen 3 1300x My question; is dual rank memory the act of using 2 sticks of RAM on a PC? or are the sticks actually designed differently? Curious
  11. @schizzlschnitzl @Alex Atkin UK @The Benjamins @Bigman397 Nothing worked so far. 8.8.8.8 gives 1 lost packet of 500+ test 10.0.0.1 gives no packet loss or ping spikes
  12. How would i go about disabling ipv6? I haven't tried this yet, everything else seem to temporarily fix the problem but not permanently
  13. @schizzlschnitzl @Alex Atkin UK @The Benjamins @Bigman397 could this also be a bandwidth problem? I notice that the rate in which i disconnect from gaming is higher when a lot of people are using the internet (my 2 brothers and other fam members watching Netflix) Or this could just be coincidence
  14. Also, how would i keep a constant ping to 10.0.0.1 and 8.8.8.8? is there a specific setting in the router for this?
  15. sorry for not responding in such a long time, I factory reset the modem and it seems like it's fixed the problem. however, it appears the problem is starting to come back I will do what you've requested once the problem is confirmed back
