  1. I play with Vsync off but lock the fps to 2-3 bellow monitor maximum refresh rate my monitor is Freesync so therefore don't get any tearing when FPS is above 40 but not higher than maximum, because I set the maximum frame rate. That said, I notice tearing more now if I had turned those off, than I did before I got a Freesync monitor. (But still noticed it then). Some people really don't seem to notice tearing for some reason.
  2. You use 1080p 32" and dont feel you have a problem with low pixel density? Then you are very different from me, I would dislike that.
  3. Personally, I would not get a 32" 1440p at normal monitor distance because of pixel density. 1440p is better suited for 27", and 32" should be higher resolution. That is my opinion, someone else's may be different.
  4. I am guessing you also didn't follow gaming news at all, or have friends that mentioned it? Because it was quite big news so don't know how you missed it.
  5. My main use of PDF is that plenty of tasks on uni we get asked to deliver our answers as PDF One thing I noticed last year is of you format a text with images and stuff with Word, plenty of times it's formatting does not look the same in Word Online. I find that kind of stupid because both are Microsoft products, would be more understandable if they weren't.
  6. When it comes to mains voltage, soldering two wires together is actually even more of a no go when it comes to electrician house work. Solder doesn't conduct electricity as well as copper or aluminium does, and can be less consistent/hard to see how good the connection actually is. Harder to redo or change later. And takes more time to do. For non mains, low power, or the device end its a different situation tho. The *ideal* is to avoid splits or connections whenever you can, cable too short? Replace the whole cable and not cut and splice it. I know it isn't always possible.
  7. I don't not sure aboth the law, but here in Norway, spring connectors like the Wago ones are heavily preferred/recommended over those ones or wire nuts by electricians because it's less likely to do something wrong by tightening them too much or too little. Wago is a very common brand, and have ones ment for different sizes cables. But none of them should be used places where the cable can be snagged as neither of them have stress relief, but there is connection boxes / seperate stuff you can put them in that do have it. - Worked as an automation electrician for a few years(not many)(but now back to uni)
  8. I don't think the interest for RX 580s is any high at all, they are old GPUs by this point.
  9. Uploading to YouTube and downloading ot again do kill the quality tho. I would rather upload it to some kind of cloud service and then downloading it again.
  10. If they had an European warehouse, it most likely would not be in UK. Netherlands/Germany would be more likely candidates. There is a reason for that companies like Logitech, Dell etc, have their storage for their own stor, or where they send their European RMA replacements from, is Netherlands. It would cost more than what you pay for shipping inside of UK. I would even go and say that 5£ shipping is very cheap. I don't think small order shipping cost would become that much cheaper if LTT store had a warehouse in Europe, on small sized orders. Where the difference would be is on larger orders like buying a backpack or plenty of things together where current shipping is 40+ USD.
  11. Do you know how that works if a package content is mixed, some clothes and some other things?
  12. W11 haven't changed anything for me when it comes to gaming. What kind of things do those people claim makes gaming harder/more annoying for them? I can right click the desktop on my PC with w11 to open display settings. Do you have any other specific examples?
  13. Just an idea, what if you try to set it to something that is exactly 2x the resolution to what you want? Does it still look blurry? It would mean 1280x960.
  14. Figure what broke in it and fix it. That is the only thing I can think of.
  15. I hope this get improved. The simplest thing you could do if you don't fix it properly, is for LTT to stop collecting taxes on orders to Norway, or somehow make sure we don't pay VAT on the VAT you collect, if that is possible. Another thing I am curious about, if I am in possession of a discount code on LTTStore, how will Posten/Norwegian Customs treat that when it comes to VAT? Will I have to pay VAT on the original value or the discounted value?
  16. No point buying music if I am going to have, and use Spotify anyway.
  17. But those dont automatically take in to account what I am listening to automatically, not do they give new playlist automatically per week. Worth noting I listen to a lot of musik, 88k minutes last year.
  18. Buying music instead of streaming wouldn't really work for me as I don't really only listen to things I have listened before. I am a big user of discovery/radio playlists on Spotify regularly (not always) to listen to music I don't specifically choose myself you can't really do that if you buy albums.
  19. I would recommend stop using it for anything that is connected to the internet because it isn't safe to do so. The more time passes, the less secure it is as more vulnerabilities that won't be fixed, are found.
  20. So I won something on an event for someone else's Birthday, on my own Birthday. Only me that find that amusing?
  21. There is IPS monitors with lots of IPS glow, and it's others have a lot less. I don't know, but I would guess am IPS monitor that is 240HZ would be more likely to have shortcomings like that than more normal monitors. My monitor is IPS, and doesn't have much IPS glow compared to other IPS monitors I have seen. OLED wins the viewing angle war if you care about that.
  22. Interesting, didn't know that. I wonder if there is a way to see historic data, or Log how much RAM is put in to pagefile, I thought that only happened when you maybe hit maybe 15,5/16 or something.
  23. I have 16 GB RAM (Ryzen 3600, 5700 XT) and are yet to use a game that use up all of the RAM. The most I have seen is 14/16 but usually it's closer to 12/16, that is including browser, Spotify etc. But I usually don't play games from this year, I usually play games that is more than a year old. I do expect to find a game that fill up the 16 GB at some point in the next 3 years tho, but I might have upgraded already at that point. An memory limit I have hit twice is 8GB VRAM on the GPU, Horizon Zero Dawn being one of them. That is a much bigger limitation on my PC than the the 16 GB RAM. I had to spesifically have lower settings, not because of GPU performance itself, but because the VRAM.
  24. You can look at the images of the monitor on a site like this, or other reviews. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/msi/optix-g272 Image from that site:
  25. I just checked something, on my unraid Nextcloud docker (Linuxserver), that setting is in appdata-> nextcloud -> nginx -> site-confs -> default.conf And in nginx.conf in the nginx folder too but 0 os default I think. I have found that setting in SWAG(let's encrypt) docker too different places but for me is 0 default, and I personally don't know what overrides what. Don't know what you are running tho, so don't know if this info helpful in any way.
