  1. I remember in a video that I watched someone said Prime95 was a very intense program that hit the CPU hard, perhaps this is what they were referring to, try another stress testing software and keep an eye on voltage while it runs. hope this helps!
  2. I once used an old stick of RAM to comb my hair...
  3. Salazar Studio did a video on how much RAM is used for gaming and showed that there is no significant benefit from having more than 8 GB of Ram and even showed that most games still ran perfectly well with respectable framerates with just 4 GB of RAM, if this is purely for gaming then I would suggest not listening to the other people telling you to go for 16 GB and stick with 8 unless you plan on doing some serious content creation in the future. Hope this helps Video link:
  4. There is a new one that has just come out from them in terms of headphones, Called the HyperX Stinger, costs $50, hardware canucks have reviewed it on vessel, wait for them to upload it to youtube if you don't have vessel like me, from their tweets it looks pretty good. Hope this helps you make your decision!
  5. I had a good experience with them because the cloning software that came with my SSD didn't work on Windows 10, I've been using the SSD for a few months now and everything is working properly. and it's FREE, need I say more?
  6. Turn off your network switch and Xbox for 10 seconds + and then turn them on again so they restart completely, can't hurt to restart your PC as well, then try again, make sure your drivers are up to date (from the manufacturers website) and try updating windows if your putting it off.
  7. I know I misread the post, already made one correcting myself.
  8. Misread your post sorry, try making a virtual machine and then plug in the drive so any viruses don't get onto your real operating system
  9. Do you have a windows 8.1 CD or usb drive? try repairing drive with the memories if so and then install hitman pro, malwarebytes, there's probably a thread of great free antiviruses, clean the drive with them, copy the files onto a usb, copy usb files to new PC... Profit!
  10. Ideapad 100s is running Windows 10 Home and the Chromebook N21 is running Chrome OS, Chrome OS is a lighter operating system and will therefore run better on the Celeron processor but I find I can do more with Windows your choice though, it kinda depends on what you're using it for. Hope this helps you make a decision!
  11. Pal's Hardware did a video on how o get windows 10 keys for about $20, if i'm not mistaken I also saw Windows 7 keys for sale for about the same price, the website is called kinguin.com and although I've never used it, if it's god enough for Paul it's good enough for anyone
  12. I have a backlit Zalman Keyboard of some description, it came bundled with my dad's pre-built, my mouse doesn't have a brand name on it but it costs around £5.59 on amazon, I have 2.1 surround sound speakers, (not headphones actual speakers derp) that i bought in the nearest Supermarket for £20, they were fine until the woofer/subwoofer (not bassy enough for subwoofer in my book) got the dimple in the middle bumped in lol
