I recently bought a ssd and I fresh installed windows on it and now my windows is pretty much not letting me do anything. I can't download anything, I can't put my pc to sleep, my screen keeps going black for 5 seconds then coming back and everything is refreshed, when I move the windows around it's super laggy like I'm on a 20 hz monitor or something, it's all just really fucked up. When I try to download a program or something it gives me an error saying your organization used windows defender application control to block this app. I really have no clue what to do now. I downloaded windows onto the ssd at first and i saw all these problems i thought my ssd might be faulty. Then i put it back on my hard drive and it was the same thing.

thanks guys, also would the speed of my ram be effecting anything? as i have basic crucial ones in my pc nothing too speedy

These are my specs. They aren't great but I dont think they should be this poor at performance. I've been playing PUBG a lot recently and on very low with the lowest settings possible the best fps i can get is 27. And on other games my fps has been bery low compared to a while ago. I was wondering what I could upgrade/replace to make this pc back to life. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I currently have a i7-3770 cpu and was thinking of upgrading to a 7700k. Would it be worth it? I'm pretty sure the answer will be yes and I was wondering if there are any compatibility issues with the newer CPU's on an old motherboard like I have.

This is my first PC gaming that i'm going to build. I think i have found some good components that meet my price range and to what I know it should be all fine. But just so I don't buy something thats not compatible or something I'd like to ask here for any of the communities help/tips. They aren't getting my pc at all. It was a problem with Windows they said so they said if you don't wanna lose your data then recover it and then factory reset it. Then I go on the pc and factory reset it. Then put my old data back on it.

Im not sending it to them there's an option for me to do it but I was wondering what I have to do. Like buy another hard drive and transfer the data to that hard drive then reset it.

So my PC just broke down on me and I called support and they said I would need to factory reset my PC. I have some pretty important stuff that I haven't backed up anywhere and the guy said to take it somewhere and get the data trasnferred but thats like 100$ and im not trying to do that. So... I was wondering if someone could help me to see what I could do to move all the data off of this hard drive onto another PC or another hard drive so I can factory reset then place the SSD back into the PC. I was cleaning my Razer Deathadder keyboard, and I was putting my space bar back on and it turned out to be the wrong way on and when I was trying to take it back off one of the stabilizers snapped. I was looking on the internet and I found this one website that sells them in pairs of 4 and I was wondering if it would be able to fit my keyboard. I was thinking about buying some new ram for my XPS 8500 and i stumbled upon these 2. http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/xps-8500/CT7368009 http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/xps-8500/CT7353387 I know there are some differences but I don't exactly know what they are. The 6$ really doesnt make a difference to me but I would like to know what im getting if I do pay the extra 6$.

I was actually looking around and I found this one which someone else put in their computer with the same GPU i was going to put in except there's was a 1080 but the PSU seemed to fit in there. So I think this PSU would be a good choice but I'm not completely certain about the wiring and such. Could you check it out? Here
