  1. Haha thanks for the offer, i'll keep that in mind. Still looking and doing research to find out which one though. Thank you a lot for this, as well as ZothOmmog for your opinions on the G-Sync vs Free-Sync with me having a GTX card. I'm going to %100 get a g-sync monitor now. Also still up for anymore suggestions anyone might have and i'll update soon what i'm thinking of getting after i'm done my research.
  2. Thanks for your opinion, every single one i'm told honestly counts towards me choosing which monitor. Just to make sure i'm getting it right, you think the extra cost for the G-sync is worth it over the Free-Sync monitor?
  3. Thanks for your suggestion,i have been suggested that monitor from someone else as well. Definitely gonna look into it. I've also been recommended: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/t4Crxr/acer-monitor-umhg0aa001 https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/BcTrxr/dell-monitor-s2716dg do you know how these compare to the asus one?
  4. Hi, I've always wanted to build a gaming PC and i finally have the money to do so, the only problem is i'm having trouble picking some of the parts.I'm trying to find a 1440p 144hz monitor to replace my G2222HDL Senseye3 monitor that is no longer in production. I'm looking for a decent amount of fps (above 60 on the highest settings) so i opted out of the 4k because i don't think (from what i've researched) it will run fps consistently over 60 in multi player and single player fps games. If you think my set up can run 4k on games like BF1, Dark souls 3, GTAV, Fallout 4 on 60+ fps settings in single and multi than i'd really love to know. I'm having trouble finding a good 1440P 144hz monitor because it seems at the moment there aren't a lot of them on the market, mostly 60hz, no where near the amount of 4k monitors. TLDR: Need new Monitor, has to be 144hz. Choosing between 1440p and 4k, looking for over 60 fps max setting consistently in fps single and multi. Budget: up to $800 CADThank you for your time and suggestions everyone Q/A:-What is your intended use for this build?Mainly for gaming and watching videos on the side, was also thinking of starting to stream as streaming with my current 5 year old set up is kinda hard (I have good enough internet).-If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)1440P/4k 144hz, above 60fps - highest settings on games like bf1, fallout 4, gta5 ect...-What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?Up to $800 would be great (CAD) (Only for the monitor)-In what country are you purchasing your parts?Canada--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My future set up: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/psmbVYSome parts below are temporary that i don't have or decided on yet: the monitor, case, ram, cooler and motherboard. 5. Huh, i'm not too sure than since i can't tell much difference since i'm not too experience in what i'm looking at. Would love to hear past experience from someone who has worn and listen to both of them.
  6. Hmm not sure if that's a deal breaker but its defensively something to consider. Let's say i'm okay with waiting, what would you choose if time to receive them was irrelevant.
  7. I recently found out about the HifiMan HE-350 on Massdrop for $99, now i ask you guys the HifiMan HE-350 or the HD 558. My budget isn't a problem between theses two and i'm purely going for quality and comfort, I'm using the headphones for gaming and listening to videos/music (music of all genre) so i'm looking for something mostly neutral. *I don't have a amp or dac Also if you know any good headphone stands id love to hear about them. Thanks for you time and have a good one.
  8. How much less? would it still be good for listening to some house music or something of the sorts.
  9. Does anyone have any opinions on the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X over theSennheiser HD 598 Headphones or the ad700x in general?
  10. For sure it's really killing me since i'm trying to upgrade my entire pc, (waiting for the gtx 1070 ) + audio set up right now.
  11. Hmm, alright thanks. Definitely looking into the Sennheiser HD 558 Headphones, but as always still open to suggestions and opinions.
  12. Hmm, are there any other things that differ them apart like comfort wise or extra cables, extended cables, a case ect...
  13. Thanks for your suggestion, would you recommend the the Sennheiser HD 598 Headphones over the Sennheiser HD 558 Headphones? If so why? (both fit my budget)
