  1. Thanks everyone for the reply. About my CPU i know it will have it's limitations. And i will upgrade that probably around next year (maybe even the year after). My focus around now was to get a new GPU since mine is really old. A GPU which will last me atleast 3 to 4 years with decent settings. So is it wise to wait for the new cards to ship, which will probably take another 2 months before i can atleast order one. They will probably bust out of stock really quick. And i will be playing on 1080p for quite some time. Don't really have the need to upgrade my monitor.
  2. Hey everyone, Another thread for upgrading recommendations. My current specs are: CPU: I5 2500K oc'ed to 4.4Ghz GPU: MSI GTX570 twin frozr II RAM: 16GB PSU: 750Watt Windows 10 Monitor 24" 1080p As you can see my GPU is ancient, games i play right now are asking for something better. I have been thinking to upgrade to a R9 390 and GTX 970 (i prefer the R9 390 myself for the better VRAM and DX12 support), or the GTX 1070. But i dont know how much the 1070 will cost and when the non founders edition will come available. Currently i can make a deal for a used MSI R9 390x for € 350,- with 1,5 years of warranty, in my country the price for a new one is € 430,-. Is that an okay deal? Or should i just wait out longer. For comparison a new GTX 970 costs € 330,- and a new R9 390 € 360,- One of the reasons i didn't upgrade my 570 was because i mainly played some games that didn't really demand better graphic cards. But lately i've been more active with gaming on my computer. I don't tend to play on higher resolution than 1080p. I hope anyone can help me.
