  1. I'm having exactly the same problem, I just made a post about it
  2. Hey there everyone, So yesterday I built this new computer but since I have been running it, the screen has randomly been flickering black and back to normal again. It's happening approximately once every minute or two, and lasts a couple of seconds. While it's black, the computer is still running fine. I can type fine and sound through 'audio out' for my headphones continues to work perfectly. That's not the only problem though, when sound is being played through my monitor instead, its constantly stuttering. The monitor is connected to the motherboard HDMI 2.0 port. This means there's something wrong with the HDMI connection doesn't it? I've tried changing the HDMI cable and the same problem occurs. I know it isn't a problem with the monitor or cables because my old pc runs both absolutely fine. I've updated all the drivers for literally everything after scouring the internet for answers. I'm running on Intel HD 530 graphics at the moment because I'm still waiting to order a GTX 1080. My current specs are (ignoring all cooling - all temperatures seem fine): Monitor: BenQ GL2450 (soon to be replaced) Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170X - Gaming 7 CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K RAM: 2x DDR4 3200MHz 8GB Corsair Platinum (running XMP 2.0 to actually use that speed) SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 512GB Wireless Card: Asus PCE - AC68 - AC1900 OS: Windows 8.1 Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I have no idea what's causing it. Thanks.
  3. Yes I'm unsure of how exactly to use the bracket
  4. I'm very sorry my phone wasn't allowing me to type. This is the first time I'm building a computer myself, and I purchased a Hyper 612 cooler for my Intel 6700k, and on the Cooler Master website it's listed as compatible with the LGA 1511 but the instruction manual doesn't describe how to install the cooler for that socket type. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is probably the best courselves of action please?
  5. Hyper_612_Ver._2_Manual.pdf Okay I tried writing this post earlier but my browser wasn't working. I'm building a pc for the first time and ordered all the parts. I have a cooler master hyper 612 cooler for the Intel 6700k cpu. On the cooler master website and on the box it says it's compatible with the LGA 1511 socket, however the manual (attached pdf) does not mention instructions for that socket at all. You'll notice almost all other sockets listed apart from that. So I'm not sure which bracket and other parts that came with the cooler to use. Any ideas please? Thanks
