so, basically my current set up is
 
- z77x-ud3h 
- 8gb ram
- his 7850
- i5 3570k
 
 
so as far as upgrades im going to be building/heavily modding and old computer case used for mri machines (which was running windows 2000 on a core 2 i think :lol:), it was being thrown out at work so i took it home as a project (which currently has no name, so any suggestions?) its got an old school lay out with the psu at the top with a few floppy disk readers for good measure  i plan to strip it down, mod it heavily at college, make a new front panel out of brushed aluminium with air force grade toggle switches, and a dew bays for multimedia clutter  make a window, repaint (in black and white theme), and upgrade!
 
upgrades consist of:
- amd r9 290x, when available (but depends on pricing as unfortunately im not made of money )
- single fan cpu water cooler, sealed loop (haven't decided on what one, thats where you guys come in)
- 16gb of ram
- re sleeve cables
- more fans than you could ever need

Hey guys, as promised, ive put most of my hardware into the case so you can get a feel of what it going to look like, still waiting on the two fans for the rad, and then im set to send of for spraying! front panel cutting is also in progress.
ignore the stock heat sink and crappy ram for now and the cooler isn't fitted yet as im still using it for my main pc which i use everyday.

Hey guys, as promised, ive put most of my hardware into the case so you can get a feel of what it going to look like, still waiting on the two fans for the rad, and then im set to send of for spraying! front panel cutting is also in progress.
ignore the stock heat sink and crappy ram for now and the cooler isn't fitted yet as im still using it for my main pc which i use everyday.

UPDATE: 19/10/13 progress is being made, ive nearly finalised plans for the front panel and hope to get it ordered by the end of the week, my dremel came recently so cuts have been made, the case has been windowed and appropriate motherboard cable route holes have been cut, the case is nearly stripped to raw metal to be ready for painting. i was going to spray it myself but i know a guy who can get it powder coated so that should be sorted soon.   as far as mods and parts go, im still waiting to see the benchmarks for all the new cards so i can decide what to get. but im going to be ordering soon: - h100i - 2x extra fans for underside cooling - 24pin cable extension, aswell as sleeving and heatshrink to do the rest of the cables - a Phobya radiator grill dual (240) Stripes - black, for the front of the case - 3x Aircraft Toggle Switches for the power on and leds - a sheet of Two Way Acrylic Mirror for the side panel - many led strips and cathods for case lighting and mobo backlighting - a 92mm fan for the back. lol - case feet and eventually i will be getting new ram

yeah man i was thinking about getting some feet/stand-offs and mounting two/one corsair sp's down there. im going to post a full list of all parts and mods either tonight or Friday so il consider it if i think its needed
