The 102% was of the max gpu power, not the power supply, you can have the gpu use more power if you want it faster.

everything said by @Electronics Wizardy is true... the power is set, the gpu doesn't have a problem here.

psu calculators are inaccurate, but that's for another day. I would recommend downloading msi afterburner and up the power to maximum, it really helps with gpuboost

102.16% as in the power draw rating of the card. Not sure which RTX 2070 from MSI specifically, but the stock RTX 2070 has a power draw rating of 185w, and 102% will be about 190W.

I don't know about import fees, but you also have to consider that Newegg UK does not include VAT (like Newegg US), whereas other sellers on PC Part-picker UK do include VAT in their price listed in their prices, so be careful when you see prices on newegg, as they may not be as cheap as you think, so that £100 cheaper may be just VAT not being accounted for.

Maybe it's the same here then, maybe i don't pay until i collect the package or something, if so then for products that are around £20 difference it isn't worth it but anything more than that i am still saving, thank you for bringing this up, i forgot about import fees

just get a 1080 if you are going to wait that long to bet a new monitor, because a 1060 to a 1070ti isn't that much of a stepup for the price, even though youll see a huge performance increase

    1080 will have better performance.
You can also probably(easily) sell your 1070 for more than 250, so it'd be a free upgrade pretty much.

It makes no sense getting a Ryzen 5 1600 from an i5 6500 this is a side grade for the most part, if you want to make a wise upgrade without losing money update your motherboard BIOS and slap the i7 7700 on it.

Try selling the 1060 and replace it for no less than a GTX 1070 Ti

Otherwise you'll be throwing money out of the windows for barely no performance increase.

Swap the 7700K for an 8600K and a Z370 board. Faster 3000MHz RAM as well.

Sounds like a dead CPU and maybe RAM as well. At least it isnt a motherboard issue. Have you tried only putting 1 RAM stick in when the i3 is in? If that doesnt work swap that ram stick with the other one and try again? If it still doesn't post then i think the CPU is dead

Get a grey label (2017) CX unit, the green label ones are terrible. Other than that, should be a great 1080p rig for med/high settings.

So far with my benches and overclocking I have gotten the Ryzen 3 to 3.9 ghz without breaking the 1.35 voltage barrier AMD suggests (Even though with water cooling I would be comfortable with 1.45 but I wouldn't water cool anything under a i5/r5 chip but I digress) and have been getting 100 FPS + in titles at 1080p so he should be golden. I would expect 50-60 average FPS for that 1050 ti, which is a great budget card.
