1 - get a decent PSU like the XFX TS/SeaSonic S12II/M12II/EVGA GQ/GS/Antec HCG - the ones
2 - avoid the 960 - it's terrible value for money
3 - wait for Polaris - the R9 480(X) will be 250-300$ and offer performance better than a 980
4 - i7 or Z board is pointless. Grab the locked i5 + H board
5 - Don't waste 100$ on a case.
6 - Get the cheapest RAM possible
