    I think the flip side to that coin is that some people are very invested in ltt be it time, actual money, or other. So when Linus fumbles (really hard) this does feel personal to many people. I fully acknowledge that the YouTube relationship is very one sided. Most of his viewer prob do feel like he is a friend, brother, dad whatever but from his side we are really just a number, and so to many this most likely does feel like a bigger deal to them then it does to ltt /Linus

    Not at all Linus himself has said people should vote with their wallets, if you are upset about Linus reaction esp in the most recent gn video that is exactly how we should respond. We do NOT need to ridicule or harass we need to pull money / stop buying and Linus will either take responsibility or he will double down and have to deal.

    nothing has been said and they just raised their blast from 50 to 150 so I don't think they will make any other changes this year but never say never...

    if google or even fios would expand more it could force comcast to lower prices but that will not happen till they don't have to. I think $150 for a 2 gig connection is fair at this point and lower is always better but they will not drop price when they have no one to challenge...

    Saw this comcast will be offering 2 gigabit internet, up and down.     maybe im just ignorant but how is running raid 1 or 5 or something not going to help as far as data integrity or loss?

    Thank you guys for the info and pc suggestions so far, I have about 2-3 weeks till the construction in his new office is done and then I will be ordering and building parts as we are implementing the server set up while things are getting moved and disrupted anyways. I didnt mention the ups in my original post but I had planned to get one as well so thanks for the reminder tho! is there any benefit going with a WD red vs black?
