I recently built a new PC around May and it wasnt till later that I learned about Asus's isses with frying AM5 CPUs when enabling DOCP/EXPO. Ive had DOCP II and DOCP I enabled in my pc for the past couple months and I have noticed that my boots times are longer than when I first built it. Im wondering if anyone knows if enabling DOCP will lead too performence degradation on the CPU and if the damage will only be done to the CPU or too other parts of the PC aswell? Would simply replacing the CPU and updating the BIOS fix everything or could the MOBO and RAM have taken a hit? PC Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gJbzqm

So with Ryzen 7000 and Asus boards having issues with x3D chips overvolting I was wondering if its safe for me to enable D.O.C.P. for my Ryzen 5 even though my DRR5 6000 Mhz ram runs at 1.35 Volts, and if so if wether DOCP 1 or 2 would be better. Also would setting the FCLK frequency to 3000Mhz improve RAM with out issues?

I was on 9anime with adblocker though didnt have pop up blocker and I was redirected to another page and it instantly downloaded a file named helloworld.ms.js, I instantly deleted it. Though my question is could I be infected even though the file was never opened and was quickly deleted from my computer? I did notice boot times were a little longer b4 the windows logo shows and if I am infected what should I do to solve the issue.

So I currently have a pretty old gaming pc that is starting to show its age, I have a i7-4790k and a r9 295x2. Games like the new COD and Apex I can only average around 80-90 fps on the lowest settings with MSAA and antialaising being the only things I turn up. My question is if I am not sure if now is a good time to get build a new PC or to just wait for the next gen of Nvidia GPU's and AMD CPU's, because if I was to build a PC rn I would most likley go for a Ryzen 5 3600 with a RTX 2060 super or somethin around those lines. I was originally thinking to just get the RTX 2060 super but im still on the old DDR3 memoery due to my CPU, so I think it would be better do upgrade everything at this point. I am not planning on spending no more than like 1.2k on the whole PC though so do u guys have any ideas on what I should do.

Im not sure I didnt check and I dont have the box with me, but if it was the bios would that explain the USB ports not working and no signal from the graphics card

I am building a new PC for a friend and before I put everything into the case I hooked up the GPU, RAM and CPU into the motherboard to make sure everything was working. Everything turned on and the fans works though when I would plug in the HDMI cable into the GPU I would get no signal and not only that but none of the USB ports on the motherboard worked. Now his CPU is a Ryzen 3600 and I paired it with a B450 motherboard, could it be that the motherboard needs a bios update inorder for the GPU signal to work as well as the USB ports on the motherboard.

I currently have a r9 295x2 GPU though I am planning to upgrade to either a RTX 2060super or maybe a RTX 2070 Super, though I do still have a somewhat old CPU being the i7 4790k and 16Gbs of DDR3 RAM clocked at 2133mhz. I am curious if my aging CPU and Ram would be a significant bottleneck for gaming?

Hello I recently build a PC for my friend though although we did our reaserch the PC isnt getting good FPS when we play games. For instance Fortnite at medium seetings no shadows at 1600x900 only gets about 90-130 fps though it has constant fps drops down into the low 40's high 30s and especially in places like tilted towers it will drop to a consitant 40-50 fps for a while and then sometimes go back to a more stable 80-100. Also csgo with everything on high except shadows low, mulitcore rendering enabled, MSAA 8x and FXAA disabled the game will hover around 120-160 with drops into the 90s eventhough benchmarks show that we should be getting something around the low 200fps range solid. Also I noticed that the cpu would be around 100 percent all the time while playing fortnite, not sure for csgo. I have a feeling that maybe one of the pins on the processor may have bended though I feel like the pc would be crashing or would show some artifacts if that were the case? Please guys I need your help to fix this PC since my friend has been saving for quite a while to get it. :( The PC: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FJyrCb
