They're about the same in pounds as dollars used (for now anyway)

Ah ok thank you very much. I've just seen that the founders edition is available to pre-order for £619 here, so I guess the standard edition would be around £549 which is practically the same as the MSI GTX980ti

Thanks for the responses. The arrival of the 1080 is one of the main reasons I'm waiting. I want to find out the UK prices and also dates for other custom cooled 1080 releases. I guess even a stock 1080 would be much better.
