  1. Thanks for the answer will boot it up then
  2. Hi guys Assembling my build and realized I’m using a gen 3 riser on a gen 4 mobo and graphics card. I know the trick is to go in the bios and change to gen3 and it won’t affect much the gaming performance. But I was wondering will it impact my gen4 ssd? I am using a x570 mobo with with a ryzen 5800x and a 6800xt gpu. My ssd is a sabrent rocket 1tb. picture of the build assembled but not yet booted nor filled thanks for your answers
  3. Thanks for the answer! Man the 10980XE seems so nice but it is way out of my budget. The best I could do would be the 10900X but then it is a bit to expensive for me. Will try to look for a 7th or 9th gen above i7
  4. Hi thanks for the answer! I know it’s not the best for gaming but the mobo is free so I would like to get the best out of it. I already have a custom waterloop for cooling so cooling will be under control. for the ram I was planning 2 sticks for 16gb at 3200mhz. And honestly with the prices of cpu right now I think I will wait a bit more to have a decent upgrade
  5. hey guys! newbie to the forum here so don’t mind if I’m in the wrong spot. My brother gave me a ASUS Prime x299 motherboard to replace my z97 MB and my 4790k and I don’t know what cpu to get with it. It will be running with a 6800XT and I want to play games at 1440p 144Hz and the GF some photoshop and Adobe suite. So what CPU should I get? (Don’t mind going for a used CPU budget of I don’t know but I hope around 300-400€) thanks guys!!!
  6. Hey guys Just wanted your opinion on a build I did with scrapyard wars in my head So i had a budget of 300€ for the whole build The idea started off when I was looking around on amazon reconditioned deals and I found a FM2 socket motherboard for 35€ and with a bit more hunting found some Corsair vengeance LP DDR3 RAM for 12€ per 4GB stick and a Sandisk 240GB SSD for 60€. Then the hunting started for all the rest. I live in france so craigslist isn't really possible here and I found everything I needed on a site called leboncoin. I wanted to go for a quad core processor and a R9 2XX series graphics card was about what I was looking for. After a week of bargain hunting I was finally able to put my hands on a A8-6600k for 40€ and a AMD 7950 for 105€ For the PSU I used an old G550M from Cooler Master I had lying around but I found some about the same for around 20€ And at last for the case I got a Zalman for 19€ So in the end I've got quite a nice build that can play quite a lot of games at 1080p and runs realy smoothly So what do you think of this build?
