Have finally finished for the day after installing a new optical drive, doing desk/cable-management and some other tasks around the house which took so goddamn long and to wrap it all up, I decided to order Myself a takeaway because I really can't be asked to cook
Was a bit cautious after swapping the drive though because Windows got stuck on the Startup screen (The part where the Windows logo shows up) for about 5 or so minutes and I have absolutely no idea why that happened. And no, I didn't want to press/hold the button to try a second time lol. But it eventually got to the desktop so that's good.
Am kinda thinking about changing My build into a smaller form factor because I need more space but at the same time, I feel really cautious about doing so. Soooo.... yeah .

I love doing big cable managements, so damn satisfying once you are done with it.
Yup! I agree.
QuoteJust recently moved from an ATX (Define S) to an M-ATX (Corsair 280X) case and I've been loving it so far.
Nice one
The one concern I have with wanting to change My build as mentioned is that, I'm very concerned/cautious about changing the Motherboard and the Case I dunno why exactly. Probably because I haven't done it before, I dunno. And because I obviously don't wanna damage anything Hardware/Software-based including data etc... But at some point I might consider a Mini-ITX/Micro-ATX setup.
QuoteAs for the Optical drive, that is weird. Maybe Windows just had to stop and think for a second.
I know right?? lol I was getting very cautious, didn't want to take a risk by pressing the button and restarting the process a second time!
But hey, it's booted to the desktop now so that's good news I guess.

Yeah, I get you. I'm still really on edge whenever I take my GPU out because it costed me so much.
My transmission went fairly smoothly except for the slight heart attack when I realized that the side panel wouldn't close because of the GPU power cables.
Luckily I was able to bend the cables and push the panel on (Although the GPU IS being pushed inside the case by the side panel )

an M-ATX (Corsair 280X) case
I kinda want one of these compact ones -^ which look amazing!; ..but one that can fit an ATX motherboard instead of an mATX one (Because I don't wanna #!$* anything up OS-Based/etc... as mentioned!) A mix between the Corsair 280X and something like a Corsair Air 540 but as a 'more compact case' would be amazing but I just can't find many options Including a good price.

There isn't much you could mess up by swapping to an M-ATX case and Mobo but, of course, a new Mobo and a case would be pricey.
Yeah I agree, it's mainly the OS-based side of things which I'm a bit.. cautious about. I can't help it haha
Oh wow, nice! That is a lot of space I gotta say I see what you mean now lol
Looks pretty good
