let me know if you need anything with the player 

here are few cool things you could do 

pressing 3 on MPC(removes bobsledders and pressing Ctrl+A makes it ontop of other windows so that it floats like a pop up player ) and using the fast playback function (Control -> forward arrow key)

you can select play backs as loops and such and even let it remember last window size or playback time

selecting audio and subtitles is now more easier than ever 

just make sure you untick fast seek when you install it for the first time 

and select Madvr if you are playing back HDR content.

control + i brings up save screenshot 

Num 9 and 1 are zoom, Num 8/2 and 4/6 are stretching the window size, Num 5 to reset, if you zoom and want to go to the top right, you have to just press ctrl 1-9 to move any direction of the frame.

there's more things, for now get used to the player.

Thanks for that @MEC-777 & @Rohith_Kumar_Sp That's pretty neat! Can't say I've ever heard of MPC-HC either but was testing it just now (An hour before writing this comment) and it works quite nicely actually.

Also make sure this is set ti 0-255 range, sometimes its set to 16-235 resulting in white washed image 

also this is useful, ctrl+7 brings up the playlist,.if you have want them but not in full screen you can attach that window to the top of MPC, so that it will only show up-top in windowed and goes away in fullscreen.
