Ever since Google Chrome has updated (New Appearance etc..) very recently, has anyone been noticing >VERY TINY but still "jumpy"< stutter(s) on certain videos/live-streams but with no video-lag (loading-symbol etc..) at all?

    @STRMfrmXMN Lol xD I thought it was Hardware-related at first and was panicking a little bit haha

    My system isn't too disimilar from yours though so keep that in mind. Could be a non-B-die RAM thing, could be Ryzen, who knows.

    I don't think I've noticed anything on my laptop. I'll pay closer attention.

    Ok now it's stuttering slightly when scrolling up and down.. o.O I'm so confused.

    Honestly you should try Firefox. It's pretty sweet now; honestly the only reason I haven't switched is the profile thingy in Chrome that let's me switch between different accounts with different logins and stuff (I use it for personal and school stuff)

    Google Chrome kills me with convenience, kinda like iMessage. I'd use something else if it weren't for the fact that it sucks you in with it's convenience that really hurts when you get rid of it.

    Exactly. I love chrome for it's google account integration and data syncing across platforms and devices. I know it's a bit of a ram hog, but it always works and works well. Only very rarely have I encountered minor issues.

    OK so I haven't noticed anything in youtube but I was just watching a twitch vod and it's happening to me. No problem on Firefox. BTW, this is on my laptop with an Intel CPU so that rules out Ryzen as the cause...

    Huh... interesting. It must be something that Google had tweaked slightly somewhere else.. Maybe? o.O

    I am however noticing that scrolling and typing is doing this insanely tiny stutter now though, have noticed it both yesterday and today so far and is bugging Me lol

    That I have not noticed. It's only with videos and for some strange reason I haven't seen it on youtube, only on twitch. It really doesn't make sense.

     

    Does it happen to you on youtube as well?
