I think this is why we have status updates.

Just using the Change Icon option in the properties of the program works for me.

Wrb reacted to BlueChinchillaEatingDorito in Scrapyard Wars season 6
For the next season (if that's even going to happen), I would like to see them limit themselves to a certain era of systems. Like who can build the best DOS gaming PC. Or the best system for mid 2000 gaming.

You can't see the RGB most of the time it's marketing why waste your money on something you can't see 90% of the time

SLI isn't supported in all games and generally is not a 1:1 performance boost, so I would definitely go with the 1060.

Wrb got a reaction from Zando_ in 4K Media Center PC for ~$400 USD
Any reason for getting the 500gb WD Blue rather than the 1tb WD Blue? The 1tb version is only 55 cents more for double the space. (Both from Amazon)

Wrb reacted to Princess Luna in I've been given a $400 GPU for free, how should I alter my original $500 budget PC plan?
Wait you're building a computer in 2017 using AMD Athlon? I get it that you're short budget but what? Make a h110m + G4560 build with a single 1x8 DDR4 ram sticker.

Wrb reacted to Red Hardware in FX-8320 w/ Hyper 212 Evo or FX-8350 w/ wraith
Hi
I know that it's not the answer that you are looking for but go for Ryzen or something from Intel, FX is soooo old .

Wrb got a reaction from Valley_ in i5 7500 vs Pentium G4560
Depends on the games you will be playing, and whether they value the CPU or GPU to be more important. Have you considered the upper end of ryzen 3 or lower end of ryzen 5?, they seem to offer a good amount of cores and threads for a cheeper price than intel. If you already have the board for example, go with whichever you can afford, as both will work very well.

Wrb reacted to Mooshi in Recommended cooler?
The topic was cooler suggestions, not Intel vs AMD.
For air, anything from Cryorig, Be Quiet or Noctua are top notch. It mostly depends on your budget and personal pref for appearance--that and height clearance for your case. Best all arounder in the budget range is ths Cryorig H7.

Wrb reacted to chris76816 in POLL : Would you like to see more videos like "I have some things to say - Core i9 & X299"?
I really liked that video. He spoke about what he thought and it was his genuine opinion. I agree with pretty much everything he said and I would love to see more videos like that.

Wrb reacted to NotDaveMustaine in What Cooler to Get?
Not to go off menu, but I'm a huge fan of the Cryorig H5. It's currently 48 pounds on UK Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/cryorig-H5-Universal-Cooler-radiator-refoidisseurs/dp/B00MBTOY2S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496176943&sr=8-1&keywords=cryorig+h5). I use it to cool my OCed i7 6700k and it does so effortlessly. It also looks really good- an area where noctua drops the ball. The fan is pretty quiet, it's not unnecessarily massive, and it just plain works at a good price. As a bonus, the thermal paste included is no slouch either.

Wrb reacted to mikat in RX 550 vs GT1030
Older used graphics cards and a used PSU should be the best, just pick up the cheapest 400w 80+ PSU and an old 760/770/960

Wrb reacted to Princess Luna in Which monitor from this list would you recommend to me?
Aesthetically speaking the Asus is the one that looks the best, has higher refresh rate too, that's sweet.
