Wrb got a reaction from Milkcrate336613f in Scrapyard Wars season 6
That's a great idea, or similarly having a score multiplier for the older hardware you get, that way its price to performance across time.

Wrb reacted to Jade in AAA Single Player Games are too expensive to make says Developer of Quantum Break
Yeah, sure. @ CD Projekt Red: Go ahead and cancel Cyberpunk 2077, since Witcher 3 didn't pay off.
Maybe, just maybe, if companies were to put out good, worthwhile AAA story-based games, then it'd be worth it. See: CD Projekt Red.

Wrb reacted to Rain7 in Epic BURN By Mom
Let me get this straight, Epic already contacted the kid and requested him to take down the video since he's effectively distributing cheats. But the kid, being a privileged little twat, ignores it and comes crying to his mom when he gets sued. And his mom, being a good parent that she is, decides to fight the case using legal loopholes to teach his child that what he did was okay and Epic is in the wrong. To think that this entire fiasco could've been avoided if he just did the right thing and took down his video which promoted cheating.

Now with Intel in the game, we will literally have teams Red, Green and Blue (RGB). What a time to be alive.

Wrb got a reaction from Ryujin2003 in Gender and Racial Diversity in Gaming
(I know you're replying to a different person but i thought I'd share my thoughts)
None of the games I own have sexualised female characters, though I am aware lots of people do not have the same experiences. Usually there are no differences in the characters, and I think this is because of the type of games I play. Ill list them below in a quote. Also I don't play many PvP games, and when I do I have my mic off anyway. With most PvP games the community is too toxic for voice chat.
I think sexualisation and things like that are only really in certain games, and they are massively over exaggerated when they do happen.

Wrb reacted to Froody129 in Gender and Racial Diversity in Gaming
The biggest issue in my opinion isn't really games, it's more the internet as a whole. People do and say a lot of stuff they wouldn't say in real life when the think they're anonymous. I mean, look at the comments on any YouTube video ever where the presenter is female. Disgusting

Wrb got a reaction from Spartan777 in Wireless hdmi
I've done it.
A few suggestions, on the second to last question you might want to make an option for buying 0 cables. (All mine came with products I bought). Also for the final question, it would be helpful if you included metric distances because not everyone can convert between metric and imperial very well in their head.

As opposed to US/UK and other countries which are the pinnacle of security and highly value user privacy, right?

Wrb reacted to Zodiark1593 in The PirateBay uses website visitors as miners without them knowing. 'causes 100% CPU spikes on users
Bitcoin mining on mobile website would be particularly evil...
I approve...
Edit: games should also perform mining if the DRM detects a pirated copy. Devs are making money one way or another.

Wrb reacted to aisle9 in Us this a good deal?
The monitor is worth about $10, tops. I can find three of those on any given Saturday just by touring yard sales, and I promise you I won't spend more than $5 apiece on them.
The PSU looks like a CX550M. Those typically go for around $40 new when they're on sale. I wouldn't pay more than $25 for it. If it's a CX550 and not a CXM, adjust that price down to about $20. I severely undervalue used PSUs, even newer ones, because you don't know if they sat in a box for three months before being sold or if they were used to mine at 95% of their rated power 24/7 for six months straight.
That's a pretty nice GTX 1050. I'd probably offer $80 for it with a no-more line of $100

Wrb reacted to GoodBytes in Finally Someone Decided To Do Something About Miners
You know, Nvidia/AMD and graphics card manufacture can just all boost manufacturing allowing both gamer and miners to get their cards. Why would one say no to money?

Wrb reacted to Agosto in Half Life 2: Episode 3 update?! (Updated 8/28)
No more writers from HL/HL2 era are still working for Valve. These rumours are always painful for us, given the ending of HL:ep2 and Portal 2
