  1. Hmm well GetBackData took about 8 hours to run and while there are some semblances of readable files all of it is in folders with jumbled numbers as names. Maybe if I convert the spanned volumes back to simple volumes using something like AOMEI?
  2. Yes all drives are detected correctly and the previous installation is completely gone. This is what list volume looks like in diskpart Some additional info: Before I reinstalled Windows I used a bootable linux usb to backup some files and noticed I couldn't mount the G volume. I tried using sudo ntfsfix /dev/xxx to fix this but still couldn't access the files and I decided to just leave it. During the Windows install I think a chkdsk automatically ran and was deleting index entries for around an hour. I'm trying GetBackData NTFS from the thread you linked and will get back to you on that as soon as its done. Thanks!
  3. Hey guys, I recently reinstalled Windows 7 after a BSOD and now the spanned volume (Data (G:)) is only showing 566 GB of capacity. I think Windows is only detecting one of the partitions on Disk 2 as a drive and as a result I can't access any of the data in Disk 0 or the other 256 GB partition in Disk 2. I'm wondering how to fix this so the spanned volume has the correct amount of ~1.7 TB capacity without losing any of my data, or just being able to get my files back without a spanned volume. Thanks
  4. If you're not competitive you probably won't notice or mind a lower quality sensor, or wireless input lag on inferior mouses so you should probably focus on shape. Personally speaking I'm using a g403 and its super comfy if you have large hands
  5. I'd love to know how loud it is, the PSU looks like a 1u one and those are quite loud iirc.
  6. Temperature I think. The lower the better
  7. Here's some supplied testing http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?220874-More-Radiator-Sandwich-testing
  8. As in 2 rads with 1 set of fans? Don't do that, iirc it performs the same as just 1 rad.

Nice duck! You like in a nutshell?

/kurzgesagt. Was actually supposed to change it a while ago
  10. Should be an option in bios. Forgot what tab but the setting should be something like audio leds. Whoops! Wrong lga. Seems like you can't turn it off
  11. With win7, with some assistance from the windows dialup key activation people, its possible to transfer an OEM license to a different motherboard
  12. See if you bought a gigabyte board you could just summon the powers of the backup bios. You don't necessarily need to take out the battery, if you have a jumper just put it on the clear CMOS pins. If you don't, just short out the pins with a screwdriver
  13. Maybe an autohotkey script that pastes in a number and adds 1 to a counter every time you do so. Not really fimiliar with ahk but should be a fairly simple task.
  14. Is there an erp setting in the bios? Often its the reset button or USB hub or something like that
  15. Yeah pccg is basically everyone's go to. Although apparently people have had issues with their return services etc. There's also msy who have great prices but pretty terrible customer service
  16. Okay thanks for all your help. Really appreciate it
  17. By sound signature do you mean sennheiser tends to not be bass heavy and instead super balanced? If so you do raise a valid point. So in that case all the bass tests were simply a case of the samsungs bass being boosted? Although my main gripe is how similar they sound to the samsung earphones, albeit a tiny bit clearer.
  18. Perhaps but I did the same test with some Samsung earphones that came with the s2 and they had better frequency response(?) at the lower frequencies and had better bass in all of the various and possibly non accurate tests I found on YouTube ?. As for what I used to test frequency I just searched up "frequency response test" and clicked the first website. Something ultimate test rather EDIT: Congrats on 4444! Yeah the cxs are definitely outperformed by the Samsung ones in terms of bass. So is this a case of a bad pair? Or maybe those Samsungs are really good, you never know
  19. It says "By Sennheiser" Hold on let me find the page https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-II-Precision-Enhanced-Earbuds/dp/B001EZYMF4
  20. Hi fellas, I recently bought some sennheiser cx300ii's from amazon that I believe are fake. The frequency response numbers don't match up and the bass gap thingy looks a little wonky among other things. A lot of other things. I reckon I could get a refund easily enough but my question is whether this was a once off and amazon sells genuine cx300ii's and if so, whether I should try my luck and ask for a replacement
  21. You put "you're password will not contain numbers" under the special letters question
  22. Actually if you're that much of a silence freak just browse around the spcr forum about hard drive silencing. There are some really elaborate solutions
  23. Well yeah, although the apparently the majority of HDD noise stems from vibration. Bad wording there
