  1. Oh very informative everyone. I just remembered my cycle (mostly) GeForce 4 chip on the mobo -> GeForce Go 7600 (on a hp laptop) -> GTX 560 -> Intel Graphics Sandy Bridge (for when I tried a MAC) -> GT650m (moved to laptop again) -> 2 GTX 980ti's -> 2 GTX 1080's. It's here and there
  2. Maybe what I can do is get a dual monitor arm (one monitor mount bottom and one on top, then get 2 more flexible one monitor arms so I can either have them landscape or portrait.
  3. Cool! Wasn't the monitors Linus used for the 8k piece were around 31-32" each? Edit: I saw there 27" panels. Darn
  4. I had the thought of buying 2 1440p monitors and its definatly a option I can go with. But either way I am going to go with a quad monitor setup notherless
  5. Answer: why not I would think it'll look pretty good, I already spent a ass load of money on my rig to begin with I might as well spend a little more to compliment it?
  6. Hi all. I am looking for a monitor mount that can handle 4 34" ultrawides (3 on the bottom horizontal, 1 on top). I already own and use 2 LG 34UM95C's and I am thinking of picking up another one and maybe a high refresh rate ultrawide (whether 1080 or 1440p ultrawide). So I am just looking for a mount that can handle it for when the time comes around. thanks in advanced
  7. I usually hear people would wait around 2-3 GPU cycles until they'll upgrade.
  8. hi mate, i left you a DM, please check for it mate

  9. Hell no, well some times. I saw this one funny Amazon posting where they tried to sell a E8400 as "Gaming Ready" with a super fast 80gb HDD , I found the exact old HDD type in my old computer I had since I was 2 years old
  10. you couldn't of said that any better than you did. It's honestly sad since I was willing to give him some stuff like a cooler master hyper 212x, tons of ddr2 ram if he used that old of stuff, HDD's heck even a case, I have a rosewill Thor V2 just lying around
  11. Funny thing is that the "quality image" they provide the numbers were in comic sands which reminded me of when I watched IHE trying to watch cool cat.
  12. Recently one of my friends wants to replace his PC since it can't do jack anymore. He has a budget of $400 I suggest either building s new one or getting a decent used PC with a little older hardware and upgrade the PSU if needed and add a decent GPU. Now he is bent on just buying a $400 PC off of eBay that olds some quad core AMD apu that he won't specify, r7-250, 16gb of ram and 2 to of storage. I told him he can get something better than that but he is like, I have seen the benchmarks and it does really well! It can max out witcher 3 and such. I asked him at what resolution and he won't specify and goes on to everyone acting like he knows all the hardware in the world when he just looked at a screen shot of witcher 3 with a clearly photoshopped or bullshitted FPS counter at one of the conners. Basicallt when I asked my other friends about what to do and we came to a agreement that if I can't get through to that friend of mine, then they can't. also the last time I talked to him he only saw CPUs as more cores with higher clocks means it's better. So in short words, he believes that a fx 9590 is better than a i7-5960x because it's clocks are higher with the same number of cores
