  1. Hey guys, So I've just noticed this issue today. I don't know if it's been going on for long but I highly doubt it. There's some text right under the most used tabs and there's a button in the top-left corner that doesn't do anything. I tried clicking or dragging but it doesn't have an effect. I've tried changing the theme or removing the theme entirely, but the text and button don't disappear. Anyone have any idea what it might be? I just want to remove it. Cheers!
  2. Haha! I forgot to attach the link. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FGCJAF2/ref=as_li_ss_tl?tag=mmcdl-20 This one.
  3. Hey guys, I'm trying to find a good monitor to use at home. Its main use will be office work (data management activities mostly - spreadsheets, documents, stuff like that). Probably not relevant anyway. The point is that the monitor will have to be connected to a laptop, and it will act as an extension, so I guess I need it to have good ports. Later on, it may be turned into an extension of my gaming rig. I'm mostly a casual gamer, so response time and frequency and all the fancy stuff aren't of much interest to me. I'm looking for a full HD monitor with good viewing angles and, ideally, the possibility to tilt it vertically. Any suggestions? On brand, at least? I might not be able to find all the best products in my country (Romania). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Yeah, that's a useless answer. The battery isn't fucking dead since I just said that the laptop powered up without issue.
  5. Less than a year old. Sounds about right, especially if it's an isolated event. Had my fair share of hardware magic in the past. I was just curious if anyone else had the problem or knew what it could be caused by.
  6. Hey guys, So I was wasting valuable time watching some YouTube videos on my laptop and it suddenly shut down. I need to mention (also in the title but meh) that it wasn't plugged in. I had over 20% battery life still available and there was no indication that I should charge it (the battery LED goes red when it needs charging). After it shut down I powered it back up using the power button and it resumed completely from where I left off after logging in (Chrome tabs opened, etc). Any help on what could have caused this? I don't recall it happening to me before. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers!
  7. Well, I can't buy an adapter because I can't find one for sale in my country. Secondly, I can't buy from Amazon since an adapter is like $2-3 and the shipping costs would pretty much triple the final price.
  8. Well, my headset is wired, not wireless, so I had a bit of trouble with the wording in the official documentation. Just wanted to make sure. But I guess the problem is now that the 360 controller that I can buy is actually fitted with a 2.5 mm jack, which is retarded. I guess I'll have to wait for either more money to buy the Xbox One controller, or wait for a new Xbox 360 controller with a 3.5mm jack to be launched. Cheers!
  9. Hey guys, So this might be a really stupid question, but I would like to know the answer to it before I buy an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller. I found the package (controller + PC adapter) and I noticed that the controller has a 3.5mm jack. I have a pair of Sennheiser headphones and I was wondering: If I plug the headphones in the controller, will they work while the controller is wirelessly connected to my PC? Thanks a lot in advance!
  10. Is there a Chromebook with a 15" screen? The small screen will kill my eyes and concentration. Cheers!
  11. Hey guys, So a few months ago I came to you for advice regarding a budget gaming laptop and ended up with the Lenovo Y700. I'm very happy with it, it satisfies my gaming needs, and I feel like it's an overall great purchase for a tight budget. Now I'm back with a new request. I'm looking for a very low budget laptop that I can use for surfing the web, reading and writing documents, and watching videos. It's especially important to be able to hook up one extra monitor, in order to run either a duplicate display or 2 screens at the same time (but for the same purposes). Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
  12. Hey mate, Add me "Kiddozor" on Rockstar. Me and another friend are usually doing heists and stuff online, and are also in need of other players. We even use TS3 for better coordination. Cheers.
  13. Hey guys, Me and a friend of mine are looking for more players to join us in GTA Online. We're currently running heists, CEO work/crates and MC supplies/deliveries on a daily basis + the daily objectives when they can't be soloed. We're mostly doing all these by ourselves and with the occasional randoms, but it just feels incomplete. We use TS3 public servers for easy communication, because it's free and the sound quality is quite good. If you're interested, just leave a reply here with your Rockstar Social Club ID and we'll find you, or you can find me. Cheers, Chris
  14. Hey guys, I've recently purchased a 15.6" Lenovo Y700, based on your many suggestions for a good gaming laptop that will perform decent for a non-wallet-breaking budget. It's Free-DOS and the specs are pretty decent: i7, 4GB 960M, 8GB of RAM (1 stick), 1TB HDD @5400rpm, etc. The laptop hasn't arrived yet, and I know it has an M.2 2280 slot that's unoccupied. I have put my eyes on this Crucial MX300 275GB M.2 (2280) that I can get for roughly 80 euros. I'd be using the SSD mainly for the OS and a few large video games (like GTA V, Witcher 3, Doom, WoW, etc). My questions are: Is it worth the purchase? Some reviews say it's a good budget M.2 option. I'd already have the 1TB HDD so I don't need a larger SSD (I think(?)). If I buy the SSD, should I wait for it to arrive before I install my OS on my laptop, or is there a way to transfer the OS from HDD to SSD? Should I do the SSD job myself or take it to a shop? Because I've heard the Y700 isn't quite as easy to open as, let's say, the Dell 7559. Kind regards.
