  1. brill read, but they did slightly get me with the kraken. with that said, im not a watercooling expert and have only ever used air cooling, nh d15 is quite high up there, what dyu think.
  2. Hi World, Looking for a good cpu cooler, can be high end budget, ideally one with high performance to keep the 6700k cooled after overclocking. has to fit the noctis 450 case
  3. don't think that'll fit the case but will check it out
  4. So are AIOs just as loud or am i always picking the wrong air cooler
  5. i will be using the computer for gaming but im also a graphic designer so heavy photoshop and after effects work will be done too
  6. Hi world, I'm currently planning on building a custom comp which will contain, CPU: Skylake 6700k (most probably will overclock) GPU: GTX 1080 ASUS ROG STRIX PSU: EVGA 750W SuperNOVA750 G2, 80 Gold RAM: 32 GB Corsair DDR4 Vengeance BLACK (2x16gb) M/B: ASUS z170 Deluxe CASE: Noctis 450 White Heres the problem, i have always used air coolers, but recently after watching multiple youtube videos, liquid cooling seems to be a better solution and is deffo cooler... My current setup has an aircooler and his horrifcally loud, especially with the crappy led fan i put in thinking they were so cool at the time. But my biggest fear is the water cooling solution to leak and all my gear to mess up... i mean im spending quite abit of money here. i heard about aio solutions which for now seem the more sfaer route however they leak too. and i wouldnt know which is a good one to get. Do i need a water cooled system i.e aio sytem or does it not matter, is it really better in performance than traditional air coolers.. Many thanks
  7. I wont be rendering on the go id mostly do that at home it would be more light photoshop work with slight rendering if necessary. And im not too keen on macs.
  8. Hi World, I'm looking for a laptop at the max price of £850 that looks smart and professional but also performs. I'm not looking to play games on it as i have a mad ass rig at home. The sole purpose will be to show clients designs whilst i'm working, and to be able to edit images and videos if necessary. I'm currently looking at https://www.scan.co.uk/products/156-asus-notebook-26ghz-core-i7-6700hq-16gb-ddr4-ram-128-gb-ssd-plus-1-tb-hdd-2gb-gtx-960m-usb-30-ty however this seems to have a low battery life. but does battery life matter for those needs... What do you guys think? Also I'm not really bothered what graphics card the laptop has, as long as it has an i5, preferably i7 cpu with at least 8 gb ram.
  9. hi guys, which cooler would you suggest for the 6700k?ive had a look at these so far: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Noctua NH-D15 Noctua NH-D14 Noctua NH-L9i be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 what do yoou guys thinnk?
  10. true true... however both look good and the formula has rg fuc*in b... so looks both are fine it's just which yall think i need
  11. Hi World, Which would be best for Graphic Design And Gaming... just your guys thoughts on these two motherboards... the cpu would be 6700k with 32gb ram(2x 16gb corsair vengeance) and a 1080 gtx
  12. I agree, fortunately im in the process of building a desktop, however a laptop would be ideal for portability (especially as a freelance Graphic Designer) i mean ive just found this one and am struggling. Just want to know what are some good choices.http://www.amazon.com/HP-i7-6700HQ-Quad-Core-Processor-Touchscreen/dp/B018YIGHVK/?tag=tdrvr-20
  13. Im hard on alot of adobe software, so the adobe rgb spectrum, but i do frequently play games too. budget is maximum £2000, i dont see it being anymore than this and ideally less that this.
