  1. Awesome, I was getting close to 100 fps with my 970 on high settings with fxaa on Vulkan. Must be a pretty big performance increase then with the 1080.
  2. I can afford the 1080, I was just debating on weather the price/performance was worth it. That and if the 1070 could be enough.
  3. Yeah I can afford it, I just wasn't sure if the price/performance is worth it. Also I figured it would be pretty crazy to get over 100fps in most big games out now at 1440 but I'm aiming for the most possible.
  4. So I just picked up an ASUS PG279Q monitor from my local Microcenter and it is the best monitor I have ever used. The step up from 1080p to 1440p has been amazing but I'm still using my 970 that I've had for about a year and a half. It still runs some games pretty well but I want to get as many fps with maxed out settings for 1440p. Between the 1070 and 1080 which would be the better option? I can afford either but I just don't want to buy the more expensive card that has diminishing returns(if that's the case with the 1080) when the other is more than capable. Any suggestions or advice? As far as games go I play pretty much everything and plan on getting Battlefield 1 on launch day.
  5. My hand is 21.5cm from my wrist to the top of my middle finger, and I've been using a hybrid Palm/claw grip. More of a claw though since I haven't used any mice that were big enough for my hands to comfortably Palm.

  7. I've read up a bit on the RAT mice and they all have laser sensors, which I try to stay away from. As for the XTD, none of the sites i've visited have them in stock currently.
  8. Hey everyone, so my hands are 8.5 inches(21.5cm) and I'm currently in the market for a new gaming mouse for CS:GO and LoL. Weather the mouse is ergo or ambidextrous doesn't matter to me, it's just been very hard to find the right mouse for me. Mice i've used in the past: Deathadder Chroma (the right click wore out on me and I could press it in a good amount before it actually clicked, otherwise it was a solid mouse) Rival 300 (my current mouse, it's been the best one i've used shape wise but its a little too thin. The firmware and software have been really rocky since i've gotten it as well.) Logitech G303 (I actually liked this mouse a lot and somehow found a way to use it, but was just too small to use after extended periods of time)
  9. Alright, thanks a lot! Do you have any experience with the Fidelio X2s by any chance? I've heard a lot of positive things about them.
  10. Out of the first two which one would you recommend? And would I need to buy a DAC along with them?
  11. Hey everybody, so I figured I would ask for help on a new pair of cans. I have a budget of ~$275 and only have experience with Astros for the most part. I've been using a pair of A40s(2015 edition) with the Mixamp Pro with 7.1 surround through an optical cable for over a year now. I mostly listen to a lot of Rap, EDM and Drum & Bass and I play a lot of LoL and CS:GO if that helps. I'm open to Open and Closed-back headphones, anything really!
  12. I use a hybrid Claw/palm but its more of a claw since the mice that i've used haven't been big enough to comfortably fully palm. As for the g502/402 I did some research on both of them and also got to hold them at the Best Buy since they have some out of the box to test and they both were on the thin side. The g502 is also a pretty heavy mouse from what i've heard and I'm looking for a lighter mouse.
  13. Yeah one thats big enough but has a good Optical sensor and is built well. Thats why I'm really interested in the Zowie mice, I've heard nothing but good things about them but i'm just afraid the EC1-A and ZA11 arent big enough for my hands.
  14. Hey everyone, so my hands are 8.5 inches(21.5cm) long and I'm currently in the market for a new gaming mouse for CS:GO and LoL. I'm fortunate enough to live close to a Microcenter and picked up a Zowie EC1-A and ZA11 while they lasted but I haven't opened them up because If they weren't comfortable enough I could return them. Weather the mouse is ergo or ambidexterous doesen't matter to me, it's just been very hard to find the right mouse for my huge hands. Mice i've used in the past: Deathadder Chroma (the right click wore out on me and felt less stiff than left, otherwise it was a solid mouse. I couldnt tell if it was a defect with the mouse or just a design) Rival 300 (my current mouse, it's been the best one i've used shape wise but its a little too thin. The firmware and software have been really rocky since i've gotten it as well.) Logitech g303 (I actually liked this mouse a lot and somehow found a way to use it, but was just too small to use after extended periods of time) Any opinions or suggestions on the Zowie mice or others would be great!
