  1. For gaming majorly and light college task like excel, word etc. The gaming part spells the problem. Temperatures rise to 100 degrees at loads above 70%. Anyways thanks for trying to help me :')
  2. Been a month max really since it started happening. I couldn't have immediately noticed. It one day turned off while playing a game so I knew it was well above safe temps.
  3. The gpu is at 80 degrees. The cpu shoots to 100 degrees and throttles badly. This didn't happen before. I've had the laptop for 2 years now

  6. I have an ASUS GL502VM with an i7-6700hq and a gtx 1060. But now whenever i put the cpu under load, it reaches immediately up to 100 degrees Celcius. I've got the cooler cleaned up, changed the thermal paste, ensured the cooler makes proper contact with the cpu and still no affect. The gpu still stays at mid 80 degrees under prolonged load so not much issue there. The attached photo shoes thermal behavior of the cpu. Please HELP!!!
  7. Thanks all........ Also, what size should I go wth.. I mean like portability would be good but I really dont like too small screens.....
  8. I need a gaming laptop with gtx 970m graphics and probably a skylane i7 with 16 gigs of ram and a 256 gb ssd with some hard drive option as well in a range of 1500 USD or less ... what would be the best buy?
