I still don't get the issue. It's still over 700% of the pixels... It's not really misleading in any way.

Where's the issue in that statement?

5120x2880 = 14,745,600
1920x1080 = 2,073,600
 
14,745,600 / 2,073,600 = 7.11 repeating.
 
5k is 711% of 1080p. Also known as 7.11x the resolution. 
 
So... Where is the issue?

Uncapped games are running at a slightly higher FPS and games that are capped at or targeting 30fps are hitting a solid 30 and are seeing reduced frame tearing. Also, games that use a dynamic resolution are seeing a higher average resolution while keeping the targeted 60fps.

All good. Just curiosity anyways. Won't be using mine for gaming, have the rig for that. Mostly a glorified Roku

The PS3 is an odd console considering all the iterations and variations Sony made of it. When I worked at GameStop, which feels like eons ago, we had pages of different model numbers and specifics to help make sure we marked traded-in systems properly.

The XB1S is not using anything close to an underclocked RX 480. It's more in the realm of the RX 470 and RX 460. 
 
Where I work we have XB1S systems in the building, and I have been using the system before it's announcement. You have no idea what you're talking about. What is your source on the GPUs being the same. As I said, and someone else said well before me, you're thinking of the Scorpio in terms of GPU power.

I'm assuming you'll be using the Bluetooth in the controller you play games on your PC? If so then there will be no issues. And even if you didn't and you bought one of those silly dongles MS made and synced to that you still won't have any issues.
 
The controller is able to remember it's host device and only interact with it once synced, even when turning on.

You are the reason people tend to think of PC people as assholes. There are no calls. There are no complications. It just works. Plain and simple.

A console is a prebuilt PC with a custom OS and non changeable hardware. 

If anyone was curious, it appears that the robot survived the explosion.

I left the company two months ago so I'm not sure if anything has changed since, but if it all went according to plan then here is what I can say..

That looks really weird. All the shipping stuff I get from Amazon is sent by "ship-confirm@amazon.com" and the emails look nothing like the one you received.

There's literally hundreds of positions you could have for those companies. With a Cisco certification, you'd likely be doing network technician work, which could involve installing, maintaining and repairing various network elements for the company. (if your postilion is directly related to your certification, that is.)
 
Positions in them can range from sales to PR to HR to engineering to networking to receptionist. There isn't really a "typical" employee. 

Ah people still haven't understood what apple is trying to do here. It's not some kind of mistake like what samsung did with their S6 by abandoning the SD card slot but a fully intentional decision. They are setting a first stepping stone towards a fully wireless world like how they have done in the past by abandoning the floppy, CD, and now the headphone jack, all of which were and are be criticized for initially but the ultimately moving the industry forward.And Apple knows full well that a laptop like the MacBook isn't fully ready and hence why they still offer the MBPs and MBAs
 
IMO I think it's a good move as Apple is pretty much like the only company who can force others to move away from industry standard. However I do wish Apple had put an extra USB port on the charger to substitute for the occupied port. And Thunderbolt 3 too, however I think its because Core M doesn't support Thunderbolt natively yet
