  1. Not like that will matter since the PS4 has HDMI 1.4 HDR needs HDMI 2.0 and so on
  2. Sony needs to hire a new hardware designer. The PS4 Pro is hideous. It it looked like a Baconator.
  3. Pretty cool. Will be interesting to see reviews and real performance benchmarks. I would get one but I don't really need a "gaming" laptop for on the go gaming. My rMBP does a decent enough job playing WoW and CSGO when traveling. But now I am sort of curious as to who Apple will use for their next 15" rMBP dGPU. I'm assuming they'll stick with AMD for a while, but it would be pretty neat to see something like a 1050 or something in the next refresh.
  4. My other PC doesn't have a GPU, so it kind of makes sense to get one? I could wait an see what the 1050 turns out to be and get one for my other PC, but I'm impatient and I have the funds to get a 1060 if I decide to not wait.
  5. So I guess I don't need to jump to an i5 then. I have my i3 6100 paired with a R9 380X and haven't had too many issues with any games. Guess I'll pick up another one for my guest/back up PC. May get a GTX 1060 for the main rig as well. All I do on my PC is play games. All my work related tasks I do my rMBP.
  6. Hmm. May get one of these for my back up/guest PC after I upgrade my main rig to an i5. Should be a nice fit for an i3 6100.. Or I could get a R7 360 about $80 at Best Buy..
  7. Uncapped games are running at a slightly higher FPS and games that are capped at or targeting 30fps are hitting a solid 30 and are seeing reduced frame tearing. Also, games that use a dynamic resolution are seeing a higher average resolution while keeping the targeted 60fps.
  8. Going into detail on the exact specs would be a breach of my NDA.
  9. Not with its slower CPU and DDR3 based RAM.
  10. The PS3 is an odd console considering all the iterations and variations Sony made of it. When I worked at GameStop, which feels like eons ago, we had pages of different model numbers and specifics to help make sure we marked traded-in systems properly.
  11. I'm assuming you'll be using the Bluetooth in the controller you play games on your PC? If so then there will be no issues. And even if you didn't and you bought one of those silly dongles MS made and synced to that you still won't have any issues. The controller is able to remember it's host device and only interact with it once synced, even when turning on.
  12. I'm doubting what you're saying/claiming since I was involved in the testing of the XB1S and its accessories. I was mostly involved with the controller, but I spent enough time with the console to actually know what it is. I left Xbox a few months ago for a better job at a "smaller" company.
