  1. So it just must have been that one controller because I just tried it with a friends controller and just like you said, I plugged it in and it installed the drivers and worked! So the controller just must have been faulty. Thanks for all the help guys!
  2. Yes the RAM is high profile. and it was a very tight fit but it fits! With only a few mm to spare. I want to get a new cooler (probably a phantek) that is lower down so I can fit a fan on the side where the 2 graphics cards are. They are getting a little too hot for comfort!
  3. Thank you! I totally forgot that you can adjust things in different ways. Thank you for the help!
  4. I just have a quick question: Does Asus GPU Tweak software have a fan graph that I can adjust to choose when the fan speeds up on my 2 Asus 760 cards? I know that EVGA's overclocking software has an option to change the fan graph. I just want to make the fans speed up a little quicker at a lower temperature. Thanks.
  5. I cant really tell what is going on in the picture. Which way is up? lol. but if you are trying to get this computer to look like a cabinet drawer, do either one. I would not use the handles if I were you. It just looks weird.
  6. I have a good old Chromebook. That's the closest thing I have to a laptop.
  7. 9 out of 10. Seems like a pretty boss computer you have there. 8. I suggest the 770 or 780 or even 760 (a beast for the price)
  9. I love the option of SLI. In my main computer I have 2 Asus 760's running. My computer went from running really well, to RUNNING LIKE A GLORIFIED MAJESTIC TIGER, SPRINTING THROUGH THE FIELDS OF GRAPHICAL QUALITY. It is great! So for about $550 total I now have the graphics power of a $1000+ Titan card.
  10. I think it would be worth it to SLI. It doesn't matter the brand. You can SLI different brands together, they just have to be the same card model. However, it usually is better if you just use the same brand. (It looks nicer too). I would try it if I were you. You would just need to install the drivers from her graphics card onto your computer and then you should be good to go. It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to set the whole thing up. Just watch your temperatures. With 2 graphics cards running inside of a little box, things can get pretty hot. Have fun! Just don't be too disappointed when you have to go back to a single card
  11. 780 for sure. I always just feel that NVIDIAs graphics cards are more stable and reliable compared to AMD cards. But that said, I have only ever owned NVIDIA cards so I guess I am a little biased.
  12. If you want more power for the price, go with AMD for the processor. I believe I have a build almost exactly like the one you first stated with the fx-6350 and the EVGA graphics card. I'm not sure if that is the exact processor that is in my computer but I know that the EVGA 750 ti FTW is the graphics card I have in one of my machines. It is a great little card and can run all the modern games on medium to high graphics (High most of the time). I always recommend NVIDIA for graphics cards. I just feel that they are more stable and reliable. But I dont know what your price range is. If you can go up a little higher, I would reccommend the gtx ASUS 760 OC. It is a FANTASTIC CARD. I have 2 of them running in SLI in my main computer which gives me as much or a little more (depending on the game) power as a Titan.
  13. That is a very nice system you have there! But as many other people said, 4k takes a LOT of power to run even just one monitor. And if I were you, I would wait until 4k monitors are a lot cheaper. Right now they are kind of stupidly expensive. But that computer is a beast. I think it is just a little sad you built this amazingly powerful pc for minecraft.
  14. You could go to the launcher (in the files) and right click it. Run it in compatibility mode for XP or Vista (I assume you have already) and try checking the Run as Admin button. Maybe that will help. I know that on my Windows 7 machine I had troubles getting GTA 4 to boot up but after running in compatability for XP and running as administrator, it fixed the problem. The GTA 4 for pc is just a really bad port. It is kind of sad.
  15. yes that is where i downloaded the drivers.
