  1. Suppose I could give it a try, although I am quite fond of the Asus ecosystem. Does Afterburner support all the same features? I quite like the automatic 0db fan option. Keeps thing cool and quiet when I'm just browsing Youtube. Nice when I wanna do something with my mic, too!
  2. Hello again everycreature! So, I'm rocking an Asus Dual RX 6070XT OC edition, and have been using GPU Tweak III for overclocking. Recent, the program started looking like this: Yeah...not very useful for overclocking now. I've tried uninstalling, turning the computer on and off, haven't made any hardware changes since she was built. I'm not sure what to do, this happened just before the issues I had with Rocksmith, which I made another thread on, but that has since been fixed. Seems the game just needed an update. But this...I'm at a loss.
  3. Well, the only things I saw for RS or Ubi is back in January, the game was working fine then. Maybe there is something else to look for? I've dumped the error logs that have everything critical from the past week. https://drive.google.com/file/d/17SzEAQA_NN7xlQw-DkNsSo3M1SLGJAV0/view?usp=sharing
  4. Thanks! I don't see anything in the event viewer from Rocksmith or Ubisoft. is there anything else I should look for?
  5. Okay...turns out I had left "Run as administrator" on as a troubleshooting step. and of course that ended up being the problem with loading. Why? Just...why? But the audio is still giving me troubles. I can play through one song just fine, but after that it goes all out of whack unless I restart the game. Many people who experience similar problems suggest turning off audio exclusivity, but that only made the issue worse, it happens as soon as the game starts with that off. And increasing the buffer only added latency on top of not fixing the problem at all.
  6. Update...ran Windows File System Check. rebooted and the game started right up...but still had the audio issues. Tried uninstalling a few ASIO drivers for a device I no longer use, and the game stopped loading again. This time SFC finds nothing wrong, reinstalled the game again and no luck. Also GPU Tweak III isn't working right anymore, that's been happening for a few days so I don't know if they are related.
  7. Hello! Problem going on. I have a game called Rocksmith+, it's basically Guitar Hero but played with an actual 6 string. So, a couple days ago I had an issue where the sound would become very slow and garbled. I tried adjusting all the audio setting I could think in both the game and in windows. Also deleted a completely unrelated programs I wasn't using anymore...now the game immediately crashes after the opening "warning, consult your doctor blah blah" screen. So, naturally, I tried reinstalling the game. Nothing. So I tried uninstalling the game again and Ubisoft connect, reboot, reinstall both, reboot, still broken. What do I do now? My $150 a year subscription is going to waste and the calluses on my fingertips are staring to go soft.
  8. Hey there! So, issue with the Edge browser on Win11. When I have it open for too long or have too many tabs open, my PC gets glitchy and flickery. When I first built this system, I was under the misimpression that I would not need a paging file since I have 64GB of RAM. Well it was suggested by a few that some programs will want some virtual memory anyways, so I reenabled it on my boot drive. made no improvement. Commit charge is almost at 100% all the time with Edge running...which is almost all the time. I've never had this issue on my old laptop, with a quarter of the physical RAM and all default settings in Windows 10. And I'm not opposed to trying a different browser but I actually like how well it integrates with Windows and it's layout.
  9. Oh, yeah. totally. I just didn't realize the word card was used so loosely now. Although having composite RCA input jacks on the front of my case like my old VCR would be kind of a fun silly thing. And I totally would make that happen if I didn't already have a 3.5" floppy there instead.
  10. RIP me. Realistically I could lower the resolution of the screen capture since I would likely have it windowed in the stream vid with chat and my avatar visible. I wonder if there is a service online where I can upstream just that and let it hand adding the twitch chat and stuff?
  11. Yup! That's exactly what i'm trying to do. I find my day job to be rather healthy for me and tbh don't wanna splurge on a massive setup until I move out. It's more...i'm already playing a game so why not stream it? I'm not really against emulation, I just find OG hardware very enjoyable and comforting. Same reason I started buying cassettes for my classic SHO instead of getting a cheap cassette aux adaptor. I'll probably do DosBOX for old PC stuff but I like my good old DualShock®2 Capture cards arn't really an option since I've got a MicroATX build and my GPU pretty much takes up all the slots. USB 3.1 is an option tho. Most console would be PS2 or older. I actually havn't bought a console since PS3, and I still havn't even finished the Toy Story 3 game on it. And hey, if I can't do new AAA titles, that's fine. If I'm limited to Lethal Company, DBD, TF2, Duke 3D or 3D Pinball, that's fine too! Thanks for the tips tho. I'll have to play around with clocks and see what works best. A hot room during a dedicated session isn't as big of a deal as casual here and there.
  12. Hello! I recently built a new PC after not being able to game for a few years...and after the fact got the bright idea to maybe start PNGtubing. I think it might also help me come out of my shell abit since I've realized I'm a very reserved nontalkative individual. Anyways, first first. I wanna make sure that I did good with my PC specs. First time build. I didn't intend on streaming at first but I did have AAA gaming and music production in mind. Ryzen 5700g w/ 120 x3 Alphacool radiators. 64 Gb RAM @ 3200Mhz Prime B550M-A mobo ASUS Dual RX 6700 XT OC...with an exhuast fan on the case side right beside it that feels like it pulls a lot of heat from the card and out the case. Two 512Gb NVMe boot drives in raid 0...forgot about shared PCIe lanes until yesterday but havn't noticed any issues in casual gaming. 650W PSU 2 1440p monitors up to 170Hz and 1 1080p TV at 60Hz 25 Mbps Down/4Mbps Up internet. Win 11 Rainbow Dash wallpaper Runs pretty good gaming wise but If I have more than a dozen or two Edge tabs open the does give me some issues with it or other programs locking up. I would like to keep overclocks as low as reasonable because I really really don't like heat and you know how Dads' are with the thermostat. Aside from specs, what else do I need to get started? Aside from PC gaming I would love to do some console games and if feasible would prefer to capture from a real console instead of emulate. Btw, I'm not trying to do this as a serious carrer. Just a fun little thing when I'm not at my day job selling car parts.
  13. Swapped back the origonal mobo, now it toots without needing safe mode, but even in safe mode I am getting the same problems.
