  1. One thing that I will suggest for the final database that LTT build is to have good photos of the box and the PSU as part of the testing. The PSU tier list is great, but it can be quite confusing to figure out what is a "yellow label box (triangular grille)". It looks like even @AlexTheGreatish fell victim to this as the PSU in the video was misidentified as a C tier when it was actually an F tier. :D A partial solution can be to include a link to the amazon listing (I'm sure this will be done anyway even if just for the affiliate money), but that doesn't help people in countries like Pakistan (hi!) where even the brand new PSUs available locally are often a couple of years old. Can't wait for them to test EVERYTHING and make my life as a spec-me-a-PC-in-this-budget-guy much easier.

  3. What happened to the $200 Canadian tech question at 40:05? I only noticed because Paul was trying to make a grid
  4. Ikr, I almost borked the whole thing. Luckily I was super quick to the video and to get the link, so it all worked out. I always have shadowplay running in the background (3 mins, 1080p, 60fps, 30000 kbps) so recording's not an issue for me.
  5. I actually got a 3070 in the last drop, here's my video of the challenge:
  6. @jakkuh_tThe drop link (https://dro.ps/ltt-pan-jan21) seems to be incorrect. It's currently linking to "DROP + THX PANDA WIRELESS HEADPHONE
  7. Hi. I'll break down this post into sections so that it is easier to read. The Relevant Specs i5-8600k at 3.6 GHz base, no overclock (yet) ASUS ROG Strix Z370-E Gaming motherboard ASUS ROG Strix GTX 970 VS550 PSU 2666 MHz 2x8 GB DDR4 ADATA RAM Cooler Master MasterAir MA410P cooler Logitech G602 Wireless Mouse The History I started off with a i3-4150 and a Gigabyte motherboard in late 2017, using the same PSU as the current build. Some time later, I started noticing that my PC would randomly startup on its own after I'd hibernate it (I almost exclusively hibernate my computer). I narrowed it down to accidentally moving my mouse. I checked the BIOS settings to see if wake-on-LAN or mouse were on, they were not. After a bit of googling, I saw that gigabyte motherboards have a feature where you can specify that the computer use less than 1W of power when it is shut down, and with this setting turned on (the name of which eludes me), the issue went away. I then upgraded to a i5-8400 and Gigabyte B360M-HD3 in late 2018, which caused the same issue to resurface. I again turned on the power limiting feature and the issue went away. The Now I've now gotten a free upgrade to the current specs mentioned above (my brother upgraded to a 10900k) and the issue has come up yet again. I've turned off fast boot in windows power settings, and I have turned off the option in mouse settings for the mouse to power on the PC from sleep. Wake-on-LAN and other relevant options in the BIOS seem to be off (not 100% on this, can check if someone requires info about a particular setting). The issue only appears on hibernating, and not shutting down. One thing that might be important is that the PSU has remained constant through the 3 PCs. It has not displayed any signs of malfunctioning, other than this (if this is a PSU issue). Any help would be appreciated, especially if someone knows the ASUS equivalent to Gigabyte's 1W mode. Thanks!
  8. The app is free, with a paid version to get rid of the ads. The number of downloads are irrelevant, especially since the app has been on the store for ages (and Google's solution to this to submit a new app with a new app name and package name (source: https://twitter.com/PodcastAddict/status/1261671685477941253?s=20) ) and the same podcasts are available on Google's podcast app.
  9. Source: It's a great podcast app that I've been using for the past 3 years and it saddens me to say that it's gotten removed for content that is beyond the app's control. As the author of the tweet says, the same podcasts exist on Google's own podcast app. Posting here so it may get some attention, and hopefully get the issue resolved for the sole developer of this app.
  10. This was one of the most entertaining videos LTT has ever produced, right up there with 7 gamers 2 cpu. Good job @AlexTheGreatish!
  11. Another thing that wasn't mentioned in the video: pricing is not the same all over the world. For example, it is Rs.140/month here in Pakistan, which is under 1 USD. I'm glad that is a thing, since the feature is geared more towards people in developing countries anyway.
  12. Any plans for a DIY password manager? I currently use LastPass but I worry what would I do if LastPass just disappears one day.
