Motherboard shopping. What's with 75% of them having VGA ports?

    I've been wondering that myself, the same with PS/2 Ports

    PS/2 ports half make sense because of people still having a hard-on for old mechanical keyboards and other recent models having a PS/2 option. But I say half makes sense because for most consumers, USB based keyboards have caught up in features that PS/2 ones had.

     

    If it's for backwards compatibility or whatever, just throw in a DVI-I port.

    VGA is for backwards compatibility and for things like projectors.
