Microsoft is trying to get Xbox One games running on Windows. https://www.pcgamer.com/it-sure-looks-like-microsoft-is-testing-xbox-one-game-support-on-windows-10-pcs/
This makes me think Microsoft is trying to get the Xbox One to be what the Steam Machine couldn't.

*gasp* Does that mean...
KINGDOM HEARTS ON PC!?!?!?!
-
Nah, it's probably going to be just Microsoft's first party titles they'll be bringing over.

@Mira Yurizaki ...you ruined my moment...

That's esay. All Microsoft needs to do is actually get games working on their OS... and that doesn't seem too hard.
Honestly, fuck Valve. The way they did Steam Machines was fucking awful. They had a concept with no unified platform and it fell right on their face because they're too high on money to see why 7/8 of their ideas don't work.

No, the Xbox systems have always been Windows-based to some degree. The Xbox One initially started off with what, for the sake of simplicity, I'll call a Windows 8 variant, then upgraded to 8.1, then to Windows 10.
