What if the PSU has the Wattage/Voltage/rails (backing hardware) to handle the potential power draw, but the cables are lacking? And worse yet, if it's either semi-modular or non-modular? Imagine that you have a 1500W 80+ Gold PSU that's lacking in the cables department, and you're trying to get a pair of RTX 2080's powered up. What would you do?

Most high wattage power supplies like that would have only 6+2 PCIe pins.
Either way, this is taking something that's supposed to be rated for 75W and outputting it to something that could take 300W.
