That's a lot of data, wonder why it requires so much. Happy that disc media is still alive though because 130gb would take forever to download and would eat half of my monthly data cap.

Same thing applies with phones tbh. I'll gladly take a 1080p panel on a 5" screen.

There's no home button or front facing speakers from what I can tell so I don't see why its needed. Poor design imo.

It looks like a good phone if it releases somewhere around $399.

Were you able to go to the press releases for both? From what I understand, nobody has a Karma right now and theres only like 10 Mavic's in the wild.

Being Apple, no doubt they are trying to get everything in their products from an in-house design. Intel has fumbled the ball several times with chip delays and that probably pisses Apple off (they same way Apple isn't updating their macbooks pisses us off xD).

The same reason Hackintosh is a thing, Macs run on the same platform and basically all the hardware needs to be compatible for systems shipping with Windows anyway so even if they blocked it it would be temporary at best. Then there is the fact that unlike with macOS Microsoft still earns fees on the licenses.
    For ultrabooks they're pretty competitive.

The sound is better too. Not many people will have a connection capable of steaming video & audio of equal quality to UHD Blu-ray, and downloading requires more storage than your average consumer has. Optical media isn't dead yet, just wounded.

Yea if I'm totally honest, 1080p blu ray looks better than streaming 4K. Bit rate is so important and with ISPs having such low speeds and data caps, it's just not worth to stream 4K or even download imo.

It's not "very good", it completely shatters the competition and will continue to do so well into 2017. It's the fastest phone in day to day usage. You can trow multi core scores at me how much you want, I refuse to believe there is a single app on the appstore that is as well optimized as Geekbench.

So what? An item shouldn't be priced relative to how much it costs to make, but rather how much will make it the most profitable.

I'd choose the Taptic engine anytime over a normal vibration motor. More energy efficient (in my theory) and better usage customisation. Dont think a normal vibration motor can produce the same distinct knocking effect as the Taptic Engine that suits nicely with the 3D Touch

I will agree for a bit that bigger battery is always better but battery life is never really a real issue with iphone for the majority users.

I've always preferred faster single cores but I'm not complaining that the latest iPhone now crushes in multi core too. Apple's chip team is really under appreciated.

lol you contradict yourself in one sentence. improving features that exsit is the definition of innovation crating something new is invention. apple have been innovating in various fields for 15 years
