  1. It would crashed before as soon as I ran furmark, else my temps hovered around 50. Anyways I repasted the card and Its not heating, but was still causing the 62 error code. So I took my motherboard out and replaced it. Now the computer posts, but i get random TDR error and bsod. I first ran furmark for 20 minutes and all was ok, max temp went to 80. Then I tried running stable diffusion and immediately the TDR came and crashed my computer. I restarted and it restarted fine, but now My wifi card isnt showing up. I've been building systems for a while but this one has me stumped. It could be multiple things failing. My earlier PSU failed,, so Im using a new PSU(old psu could load up all the devices except the GPU, I one day came and the thing had crashed), I'm just wondering if it actually did do some lasting damage to my other components.
  2. Hi, I have a 7 year old system that's been my daily driver, that I built myself. My main computer Specs are as follows: Asrock X370 Gaming k4 Ryzen 7 1700x Processor Msi GTX 1080 Gaming X 32 GB Corsair vengeance ddr4 ram 1 TB nvme ssd 650 watt antec psu (earthwatts gold, if im not wrong). The following is what I tried and what the results were: Put the PSU, The GPU, on another motherboard. The computer booted fine, and stayed like this for a while but then shutdown with BSOD error video tdr failure, nvlddmkm.sys failed. Immediately turning it back own threw error code 62. Waited for a while then I turned it back on and windows successfully loaded, I then used msi afterburner to undervolt the card, and it worked fine, I could even use furmark. Started my main PCs (the one with the issue) without the GPU and it started fine. Since the 1700x doesn't have display capability, I used Ms remote desktop to login and it was working fine. I put my GPU that was lying idle for a while back in my main computer, and it worked for a bit before giving the video tdr error again. I again waited for a while till the card was cold to the touch. It again started normally but crashed as soon as I ran furmark (the card wasn't under locked here) So my main question is that could this be a thermal issue only? Or is my card failing? I have used this computer everyday since 2017. And have not made any changes to it either.
  3. Hi, man ive been building computers for so long, and sometimes its the stupidest things that cause a malfunction. I banged my head against the wall laughing maniacally after finding out what happened. I DIDNT PRESS DOWN THE RAM HARD ENOUGH. Earlier i thought, The Rams gone in! It clicked! if I push any harder ill snap the motherboard in 2. NO, there were supposed to be 2 audible clicks, not one, two. I am so sorry for wasting all yours time. This is so damn Stupid FYI the Corsair ones I bought, they work, I just wasnt pushing them down hard enough
  4. So I bought new corsair vengeance memory and installed it as an upgrade to my current rig. It gave an error CF 46 which I understand is a memory not detected or memory initialization error, but after removing them and resetting cmos and installing my old memory which was working fine 15 minutes ago, it gave the same error CF 46. Is the motherboard dead? (I should also mention the error codes after replacing the ram, even if I move them up a slot, don't display, when this happens I have to drain the power by unplugging the system and pressing the power button, after this the memory error returns) I have an asrock x370 gaming k4 Old memory Gskill flarex ryzen compatible memory 2400 mhz Ryzen 1700x cpu Antec 750 watt gold psu
  5. No tools as such, just a router, range extender, and a computer.
  6. no it doesnt have a timer, and to the touch the device seems cool, plus its in a room where the ambient temperature is 22 degrees. Its a brand new piece still under warranty.
  7. Hi, So I bought a zyxel range extender (WRE2205). I set it up according to the zyxel guide (went into the interface choose my connection, put in the password, and it connected). Now the problem I'm facing is that the extender works fine for a couple of hours but then suddenly most of my devices loose wifi connectivity to the SSID (I'm using the same SSID for both so as to seamlessly move from room to room) and only regain it when I switch the extender off . I once thought that changing the SSID of the extender would fix things but it didn't. What could be the matter? Please help, I have poor connectivity in my room
