I had my first fail in a few months, my second only after a month (feb) and Ive been running it since lol. My loop was already expanded (second swiftech xp dual rad, ek 290x block, 4 nf-f12) when I got the replacement....it was silent at first for about a month or so. no Issues. then all of a sudden when the rpm would go up to 1800-2000 it would start making the swishing sound then a whining sound. soon after when rpm would go lower to min it would make noise....definitely not air noise at that point. I found running it at full would get rid of the noise temporarily but eventually it started making noise at any rpm. So now im sending it back and getting a h220x in return, so hopefully having the pump up top will fix the issues. having the level indicator you can make sure you don't run the pump dry when you refill and bleed. can't wait to go back to silence and 10-15 c better performance lol

it hasn't been released yet...end of the month I've had 2 h220s go bad on me within less then a year....ncix is letting me swap with a h220x instead for next replacement I've been running this shitbox pump since feb or so lol....now it makes noise at any rpm

cant go higher with tc I get a error and anything above int.13 is HW errors

I have 16gb of ram in my system. 2 sticks. would I need to type it as --setx gpu-max-alloc-percent 100 in order to use it in an argument? as I use cgwatcher and cgremote and have my configs set as arguments in each profile.

Hello all. I'm turning to the board for help as I can't get this figured out and its driving me crazy. I can't get my 290x over 530 kh without hw errors galore. I don't know why but I just can't seem to find a setup that works. My 3 other rigs have went pretty good. Two 4x 7850s and One 4x 270x. I can get 1.5 MH or a bit more from each with little issue. But this 290x is drivng me crazy. ok this is what is working for me right now....which is my best result so far. --gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -w 512 -v 1 -I 13 -g 2 -l 1 -T --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8166 I get 530-540 kh. Anything over intensity 13 and HW error galore. Also if I go any higher for thread concurrency I get a CGMiner mem error saying your setting exceed and lower TC. I also use gpu and mem but I removed it for now til I have it working properly. I have tried using all the setup Ive seen on the the miner hash wiki pages and nothing works. WTF? Help Please lol

yea just aint workin cuz your using a non scrypt version either get 3.7.2 or try another miner like sgminer

it fits fine. tight with the mb power cable and the rad bit you can squeeze it in.

ride it til the wheels fall off..... rinse, repeat... Can't complain though, I've been making $30+ a day for a few weeks and I haven't got everything setup yet. If I can profit even 10 bucks a day off a fad/dumb coin for a month before it dies off....i'll take it anyday.

im having the same issue with my sapphire 290x using 3.7.2. with cgwatcher (and cg remote) anything over 13 intensity gives hw errors. I can hit 800khs but with crazy errors. I want zero. also I cant try high TC because anything over like 8000 it gives a scrypt memory error. im at just over 500khs right now. if I oc a bit I can get over 600 but that's it I know if I use a high TC with guiminer it will work for some reason...but I don't want to use it anymore as going to cgwatcher/remote I cant go back, its too good lol im stuck

Yea I just went with those. I was trying to get the same 4 cards I have in my current mining rig. But they are sold out or not available. ncix had asus 270s on sale for 189. I grabbed 4, so that's the new rig instead. I figure if I could get 400+ from the 7850s, I can hit 450+ with the 270s. I see some have went beyond so I'm hopeful. I was going to get a bfl monarch but I decided against, I think by the time people will get it mar/apr the network is going to get flooded with all the new gen releases. I think I am just going to end up doing a third rig instead. I was going to preorder the viper from alpha tech but its kind of sketchy atm and will be like 2400 as well. I figure I add the MH now while the diffs are reasonable, I can profit better now then sitting and waiting. plus it was only 5MH....although 100w...but I'll have a bit over that soon probably anways, maybe even 8MH+

1.6 MH with my intro rig with four sapphire 7850's. 400+ Khash each. Got a second rig on the way lol so will be 3.2MH damn cgremote got me wantin to build like 10-15 rigs lol. Plus my 290x when not using the computer. so around 4 MH in the next few days.

download cgminer 3.7.2 and get the newest cgwatcher 1.3.4 I think. I had issues until I downloaded the new cgwatcher version. make sure you set the cdminer path in cgwatcher settings. set your profiles up and mine.... I also got the cg remote beta and it is awesome for multi rig setups and remote monitoring/control. If you have cgwatcher running on a rig, it works even better and simpler. cgremote totally is making me want to build like 10 rigs lol

ftc was around 45-50 cent before but since the big drop across the board its only been back up to like 35cents. right now its about 32 cents. I decided to do both ltc and ftc. I'm hoping ftc to grow nicely. was considering just buying some ftc, instead of mining to focus on ltc instead as the price could go back up to it previous best and also probably has the best chance to have a boom like bitcoin. Even if it went to 100 or something, all those mined ltc would be nice to have been hording. I was going to buy 1000ftc when it hit its lowest of like 20 cents but I was too slow. still will prolly do it but I was also thinking of doing a second small rig and doing each separately. with the rig I just put together I could get around 10 000 ftc a year. not so bad if it hit a buck or two

if your spending that much on a gpu you should be getting a good cpu as well. if you want cheap get a amd 8 core but for intel id say a 4670k. very min at least a quad core something.
