Banned for looking like an "Angry Emo"

Most will say 99% of the time Open backed headsets are better for gaming and spacial awareness. Most Headphone/Mic combo are garbage.

Just responded to someone with the same question. Sennheiser HD558 with Antlions Modmic 4.0 and cheap audio card. You can't go wrong with this setup.
-
I have not regretted my decision yet. Only thing i regret is buying everything else over the years. Modmic 4.0 sounds like butter dripping over pancakes. Its honestly the first thing people talk about in chats and games now. You sound like you are in the room with them. This is over an audio card though. Even on my ROG Hero board its still has feedback that the Audio card eliminates.

Are we getting to thin with our devices?
OceaniaAE-1 replied to Thebman712's topic in Phones and Tablets
Things are getting pretty thin and eventually unless you are super careful its just not practical. I work at a school district and we are constantly getting the iPads back from the kids cracked and bent even in cases. They are all on Airs and they just don't last. Its all how you look at it i guess but half the time they just get mangled from a drop off the desk or in the backpack. -
I have a pair of Sennheiser HD558 with Antlions Mod Mic 4.0 and a Xonar DG audio card. Great combo for me. I have had most of Razers headsets as well as Corsairs but the open back HDs are amazing and have a great sound when paired with a card with some power. Sometimes the whole virtual surround thing can get in the way of listening experience and I never really notice much of an edge over just getting a good pair of HIFI cans and driving them better with an audio card.

Project The X Desk | The X Room [100%?] More updates to come!
OceaniaAE-1 replied to XYOUNEED's topic in Build Logs
Great job on this build. Probably one of the best desk builds ive seen. Its nice to see a desk PC that includes the rest of the room to fit the aesthetics as well. KEEP UM COMING!!!! -
Loving my Sennheiser HD 558 + Mod Mic 4.0 combo with a Asus Xonar DGX audio card.

Great list. I would personally stay with the G3258 if going Dual Core. Very overclockable and usually 50.00. Help shave some costs or put money into a 280. -
I use 3000 everywhere on my Deathadder.
