  1. I would love to buy those no your prices. 3700x is more than twice the price of 2700x and price difference is double the NH-D15 in my country. Also those noctuas are super reliable and quiet. That is why I opted for them. It's not as much about money per system. More per component basis. 3600 is 235$ and 2700X is 191$. And 3700x is 387$. So 2700X is still a lot cheaper with NH-D15. But that Wraith Prism RGB does not look that bad...well 3700x is back in the game
  2. Yes ofc I am accounting for overclock on both 3600 or 2700x. With NOCTUA NH-D15 it should be possible
  3. I am currently choosing parts for our company PCs. And I am tied between Ryzen 3600 and 2700X. I think 2700X is still better for productivity workloads so I am inclined to it. Our workload is primarily programming, VMs and light graphics design. So we basically need workhorse for years to come. We currently have dual socket X5690s Dell T5500 workstations that are fine as far as core count and power. But they are starting to show their age and we are worried about reliability on such old machines. So my question is. Is it worth it to pay more for 3600 to get less cores? Are those cores so much faster so they are worth it? Also bear in mind that we are not using those PC for gaming...or not for AAA gaming But we have 1070 and 570 in each of them so we can drive 6 screens. Thanks for your opinion. Also pardon my English, it's not my first language. Edit: also we are using Debian and Ubuntu.
